It can all be traced back to President Obama

You may be shocked by the current revelations of security screw ups by the Secret Service, but you shouldn’t be surprised, because it can easily be traced back to the culture in the White House.

We have a president who regularly flouts the rule-of-law. He has made changes and waivers to existing law; he was found guilty by the Supreme Court for making illegal recess appointments; he traded five Guantanamo prisoners for Sergeant Bergdahl without Congressional approval; and he’s set to implement a broad amnesty on his own following the mid-terms.

On the morally unethical side, President Obama flew to a fundraiser in Las Vegas after our ambassador and three other Americans were killed in the Benghazi attack and, he was on the golf course just minutes after “grieving” with the parents of James Foley, who was beheaded by ISIS.

What kind of respect can government employees in our various departments and agencies have for a president who laughs off inefficiencies and in some cases criminal activities, as “phony scandals.”

There’s hardly an agency that hasn’t exhibited failures in honesty and integrity, let alone simple efficiency. Think about it – Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Eric Holder, Kathleen Sebelious, Lois Lerner, John Koskinen, Eric Shinseki, and now Secret Service Director Julia Pierson, all project the Obama arrogance and his “I won” persona.  They all know they will be protected by the White House.

In addition to the IRS’ blatant claim that Lois Lerner’s computer and those of others in the agency all crashed, and that Lerner’s Blackberry no longer existed, its just part of the criminal activity pertaining to the targeting of conservative agencies.

This is the same IRS that announced this week that it is unable to collect some $6 billion in taxes owed to the U.S. Government. Did you know there some 700 IRS contractors owe $5.4 million in back taxes?

It was the IRS that spent $49 million on some 200 employee conferences beginning in 2010, according to a June 2013 report.

Not to be outdone, the General Services Administration spent $800,000 on a single Las Vegas conference in October 2010.

Former EPA Administer Lisa Jackson was caught using an alias in her e-mails.

Eric Shinseki was hired  to improve conditions for our military at Veterans Administration hospitals, and because of his lack of attention,  some may have died because of the “cooking of the books.”

Just recently we learned that Health and Human Services spent $2 billion on the seriously flawed healthcare.gov website, which is still not secure.

Last, but certainly not least, Attorney General Eric Holder is the single most visible purveyor of the Obama culture of “whatever.” His ATF agency has the blood of Border Agent Brian Terry on its “Fast & Furious” hands.  His FBI, I believe, can clearly be blamed for the Boston Marathon bombings.  And his overreaching on civil rights has promoted racism in our country.

So, now as the activities of the Secret Service are uncovered, from prostitution and drunken sessions to the more serious “elevator” incident and the White House “jumper” – think about the culture of the Obama White House.

How many of those department and agency heads in paragraph five above were fired by the President? Zero. In fact all of them have had plaudits heaped on them in White House ceremonies.

So there you have it. You can screw up in our bloated government without fear of being fired, and you may even get paid leave while they find another home for you in the bureaucracy.

It’s the culture.
