Medals awarded for humiliating America

Supreme Leader Confers ‘Fath’ Medal on IRGC Commanders

Yesterday we learned that Iran’s Ayatollah Ali Khamenei presented medals to members of the Revolutionary Guard who took part in the humiliation of America with the “capture” of our sailors in the Straits of Hormuz.

Initially, you will recall, Secretary John “Swiftboat” Kerry wanted us to believe that his personal diplomatic efforts with Foreign Minister Javed Zarif on the nuclear deal had ensured the sailors’ early release. After seeing the video of our sailors on their knees with their hands on their heads, however, he said “I immediately contacted my counterpart and indicated our disgust.” Wasn’t that powerful?

On Jan. 20, 2016, I wrote of that confrontation and on Jan. 27, 2016, I followed with a post on the two faces of Iran’s power structure.

President Hassan Rouhani, and Foreign Minister Zarif are the smiling front men, who want us to believe Iran wants to play nice. Then there’s the Ayatollah and the Revolutionary Guard, who don’t hesitate to show their hate of America and Israel. None of them are to be trusted.
