Nancy’s fantasy … Alyssa Milano quick to attack NRA … illegals with driver’s licenses kill, too … and a Senator Warren put down

Here are my observations and opinions on some of the day’s news.

EITHER WAY, A LOSING CAUSE – Looking ahead to the 2018 midterm election, I thought it would be hard for any Democrat candidate to explain why not a single member of their party voted for the tax cut.

Combine that with Nancy Pelosi’s untimely reference to the tax cuts, the wage increases and bonuses as “crumbs,” and it shows how out of touch she really is.

But now, unbelievably, Pelosi seems to want to seal the deal for Republicans by announcing that the Dems would repeal the tax cuts if they take back the House.

“We’ll sit down at the table and say … what would be a tax bill that creates growth that creates good paying jobs as it reduces the deficit,” Pelosi said.

Job creation, including good paying jobs, are on the rise and our growth has been dynamic as the GDP hit 2.9, how can she expect to top that with typical liberal policies. And a Democrat bill that reduces the deficit is a “Nancy Fantasy.”

Don’t get me wrong. Republican candidates will have to work to retain the House and the Senate, but they can thank Pelosi for helping their cause.

MORE TO COME?  The president recently dropped a hint that Rep. Kevin Brady, Ways and Means Chairman, was working on Phase Two.  Hmmmm.

ACTRESS ALYSSA MILANO and far-left activist was so anxious to blame the NRA for the shooting at You Tube headquarters that she forgot to first check the facts before tweeting and was roundly ridiculed for it. The shooter, a female, was not a member of the NRA, and did not use an AR-15.

As I write this, Milano has not corrected her Twitter account.

ONE MILLION ILLEGALS have California driver’s licenses. “What could possibly go wrong?” writes David Greenfield of frontpagemag.com.

“Immigrants are getting tested, licensed and insured, and this is making our roads safer for everyone,” said Luis Alejo, who authored the bill permitting the licensing.

Tell that to Angela Aguilar, who lost her 5-year old daughter when an illegal, with a blood alcohol level nearly three times the legal limit, struck her when he drove his car out of control into the Aguilar front lawn.

The driver, a Mexican national, had previously been deported twice. After his arrest for a DUI in 2015, Buena Park Police did not detain him for 48 hours for pickup by ICE, and instead placed him on informal probation and releasing him.

Liberal Democrats have criticized President Trump for wanting to deport illegals without criminal records. Now that driver has one, but it’s too late for the little girl.

SOCIALIST SEN. ELIZABETH WARREN (D-MA) chose the wrong person to criticize when she took on OMB Director and Acting Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Director Mick Mulvaney in a Wall Street Journal op-ed recently.

While he refuted several statements in her column, “Republicans Remain Silent as Mulvaney’s CFPB Ducks Oversight,” Mulvaney said, “If Sen. Warren is unsatisfied with my responses to her frequent inquiries, I would remind her that she is the one who conceived of the bureau to be ‘free of legislative micromanaging,’ and who recently reiterated that ‘the whole idea’ of the Bureau was to ‘insulate it from political influence to the extent possible.’”

A polite putdown, I would say.
