On September 26, 2024, in my commentary, “C’mon, Get Serious: Kamala Harris as President of the United States?” I credited Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan for referring to Harris as an “artless dodger, (who) evades every question of substance.”

It isn’t difficult to understand how former President Trump has twice been the target of an assassin with the nine-year effort, first to keep him from winning in 2016, continuing with a Russian collusion, two impeachment attempts, and now a renewed attempt to keep him from winning.

While Trump frequently says that the Biden-Harris administration is “destroying the country, both from the inside and out,” and has called Biden and Harris “dumb” he has also nicknamed several Democrats, like “Crooked” Joe Biden, “Comrade” Kamala, and “Newscum” for Governor Newsom, rhetoric that doesn’t come close to that of his opposition.… read more
