IBD sees ISIS as the real enemy too

After posting my thoughts here that we now have a plan to reduce carbon emissions over the next 50 years, but lack a plan to destroy ISIS today, I was pleased to see the Investor’s Business Daily editorial position, Leaders 41D2aX1fSvL__SY300_Fight Phony Climate Enemy – Solving Real Problems Too Hard. “What better enemy for them to tackle than one that can’t be seen, whose damage can’ be quantified, and which can’t fight back?” IBD states.

“They should get serious about eradicating terrorism. Climate change has harmed no one, but terrorists continue to slaughter in large numbers – nearly 33,000 people were killed just last year in terrorist attacks,” according to the IBD editorial.

Last week, IBD uncovered the UN’s real interest in the Paris climate meetings had nothing to do with warming, climate, weather or the environment. “(The UN’s) goal has always been to wreck capitalism, punish prosperous economies that became rich through free markets …”

Words from the UN draft conclusion say it all – “Promoting, protecting and respecting human rights,” “the right to health,” “the rights of indigenous peoples, migrants, children, persons with disabilities and people in vulnerable climate situations,” and “gender equality and the empowerment of women.”

“It’s not about rescuing cities from encroaching seas, saving populations from drought, preventing ‘dirty weather’ or protecting polar bears,” stated the IBD on Dec. 11, pointing out that it was a movement led by the political left “who loathe capitalism, are repulsed by the wealth in advanced economies and want to exercise control over their fellow humans.”

In still another IBD piece, they point out how the media praises the Paris agreement, using words like, “landmark,” “huge win,” “biggest environmental moment in history,” and “saved civilization.” Click here to read.

Remember when the spokeswoman at the State Department said that the young men and women of ISIS just wanted jobs? Picking up on that, the New York Times said drought and foot shortages caused by global warming impels young Muslim men and women to want to kill infidels and refugees to flee Syria.

We need to take the subject of climate change seriously. Not because our planet is in eminent danger of global warming, but because our pockets are about to be picked for billions of dollars by under-developed countries through a document of wishful thinking with no enforcement.
