Where to begin … Trump’s European successes … more misrepresentations by the mainstream media … Ivanka targeted, again … and more.
IF YOU HEARD MSNBC OR CNN recap President Trump’s speech in Warsaw, Poland or his participation at the G-20 meeting in Hamburg, Germany you would have thought his trip was a failure. Of course, you don’t believe what the anti-Trump “resistance” anchors and other talking heads at those networks say anymore; the Morning Joe “goofs”, Rachel Maddow and Chris Cuomo lead the pack.
While credible foreign policy experts have, for the most part, called President Trump’s Warsaw speech on point, his best to date, the leftist media have criticized it as “too America-first,” “alt-right” with a “white supremacist” tone. The left will never give him the credit he deserves.
If you watched the G-20 proceedings as I did, you may have noticed how France’s new President, Emmanuel Macron, stepped out of his third-row position to stand next to President Trump in the front row of the group photo. Hardly a move that would be made by someone who dislikes Trump as the media would have you believe. In addition, Macron invited Trump to Paris to participate in Bastille Day ceremonies; an invitation Trump accepted.
Other G-20 members were clamoring for bilateral meetings with the president, yet at the conclusion of the G-20 meeting, the media was quick to cast the meeting as 19 to 1 against Trump.
The media also criticized the president for asking his daughter, Ivanka, who was part of the U.S. delegation, to sit in for him at a session while he attended another meeting. While the leftist New York Times called it an “outrage,” host German Chancellor Angela Merkel defended the selection of Ivanka.
A Harvard study revealed a predominance of negative coverage of Trump in the first 100 days. It continues, folks. The anti-Trump media report material from unnamed, anonymous sources. I urge you to know your source before you accept the reporting as factual.
