Cindy McCain endorses Biden … says she’s still a Republican … sorry, Cindy, RINOS not wanted … join Flake … those Blue States are at it again … now altering voting deadlines … and 235 senior retired military officers endorse President Trump

STILL CARRYING GRUDGE against President Trump, Cindy McCain says she endorses Joe Biden for president, while claiming “she will remain a registered Republican.” RINOs are not true Republicans.

I’m sure the left-leaning Arizona Republic leaped at another opportunity to print opposition material against the president.  A 72-point headline, “McCain endorses Biden,” was carried across all four columns of page one with full-color photo of the late senator’s wife posing with a director’s chair bearing her husband’s name.

While I find it difficult to believe that “the decision was not about honoring her husband’s legacy and it had nothing to do with John McCain at all.”  She said “it had everything to do with how I felt and how I’m feeling, especially during these tough times, and that it “was about her.”

Citing a 40-year friendship, his character and leadership, she said “Joe shares our values and our concerns and he cares about us.”  I wonder what those shared values are?

While she was critical of Trump’s leadership, 235 retired senior military officers signed a letter last week supporting Trump’s reelection.  Stating that “he has been tested as few presidents have, they believe that President Donald Trump is committed to a strong America.  As president, he will continue to secure our borders, defeat our adversaries, and restore law and order domestically.”

The Republic pointed out that “McCain’s voice could help Democrats reach undecided independent voters and Republicans uneasy with Trump.”

McCain told the Republic that she hopes her endorsement gives voters the courage to cross a party line and vote for someone else that’s perhaps not of your party but is perhaps a better candidate, an obvious reference to Democrat John Kelly, who is challenging Sen. Martha McSally

Speaking out of both sides of her mouth, she said, “I hope I have an impact,” but quickly added that “she would not be getting involved in Arizona politics this cycle ….”  Which is it?

DEMOCRATS AT IT AGAIN – They allow sanctuary cities to thrive in their states, they were unprepared for Covid-19 and blamed the Trump administration, they wavered on opening the economy, they allowed peaceful protests to turn into violence and looting, and now they’re playing with voting deadlines.  All designed to disrupt and delay.

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? – Michigan mail-in ballots can be counted 14 days past Election Day, following a ruling by a Democrat appointed judge, Cynthia Stephens.  Michigan plans to mail out ballots on September 24, 2020, 40 days before November 3, 2020.  “How is that not enough time, unless voters dawdle?” asks the Wall Street Journal.

And, get this … Michiganders can still request an absentee ballot at 5 p.m. on October 30, 2020, four days before Election Day.

In the Democrat-controlled Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the ballot deadline was moved to November 6, 2020.

Pennsylvania is one of five states recently put on notice for voting irregularities, also including Virginia, North Carolina, Colorado and California.

In Minnesota, every registered voter has been sent an application for an absentee ballot that promotes “voting from home,” John Hinderacker reports in PowerLine, “to help slow the spread of Covid-19.”

Go to the poll and vote, friends.  If you are making those trips to the grocery store, you can wear a mask and practice distancing at your voting location.

Unless we have a landslide victory, we may not know who won for weeks after Election Day, which, of course, will bring out leftist attorneys to challenge ballots.

TURNABOUT – The media always covers those stories of former secretaries of state, attorney’s general and national security staffers who sign a letter in opposition to policies of the Trump administration.

However, an open letter signed by 235 former military leaders endorsing President Trump saw little coverage; possibly because it would tend to refute the remarks he allegedly made about members of the military in France.  That would never do.

The group, which includes three retired Air Force generals and five Navy admirals, contends that Trump “has been tested as few presidents have and is the proven leader to confront these dangers.”

May God continue to bless the United States of America.
