How Small Can Democrats Get?

President Trump continues to live rent free in their heads and Democrats are doing every little thing they can think of to get under his skin, and yours.

One of California’s Democrat Representatives, Linda Sanchez, has introduced a bill to deprive President Trump of the typical honors of every former president, writes Victoria Taft in PJ Media.

Her bill, HR 484, called the “No Glory for Hate Act,” seeks to deprive the former president from being buried in Arlington National Cemetery or to have any kind of memorials erected in his honor.

“This is pathetic, even for you,” Tweeted Harmeet K. Dhillon, an attorney often seen on Fox News Channel, “I heard some of you (Democrats) went to law school.  Ever heard of a bill of attainder?”  Yes, Sanchez went to law school.

THEN THERE’S THIS, from the foolish Democrat Mayor of New York, Bill de Blasio.

In response to his conceived belief that President Trump encouraged supporters to storm the nation’s Capitol on January 6, 2021, the mayor is cancelling city contracts with the Trump organization.

Skaters at Central Park’s two rinks were devastated to learn that the rinks would be closed on February 21, 2021, six weeks ahead of the typical April closing date.

Trump came to the rescue of skating enthusiasts in 1986, when he convinced then Mayor Ed Koch that he could finish the rink project in four months, with the provision that he could manage the rinks.  Trump’s sons Donald Jr. and Eric have operated the rinks.

De Blasio may be six foot, five inches tall, but his stature is very small after this and his other moves in the Big Apple, like permitting the Marxist BLM to paint Black Lives Matter in large yellow letters on the street in front of Trump Tower.

IN ANOTHER act of retaliation, Joe Biden has agreed to reverse President Trump’s decision to pull out of the World Health Organization and has agreed to pay more than $200 million in assessed and current obligations.

“I cannot allow American taxpayer dollars to continue to finance an organization that, in its present state is so clearly not serving America’s interests, Trump told the WHO in May 2020. 

Trump questioned the influence of China in the WHO’s handling of the Wuhan pandemic, noting that the WHO opposed his January 2020 travel ban.

Noting the U.S. return to the organization, Secretary of State Antony Blinken sadly said, “It reflects our renewed commitment to ensuring the WHO has the support it needs to lead the global response to the pandemic.”

A New Doomsday

IN MY LAST BLOG, I recalled the many doomsday predictions for the end of the world as we know it if we fail to address climate change.  Now, Biden’s climate czar, John Kerry, says “the planet has just nine years left to avert a climate catastrophe, and there’s no faking on this one.”

Nine years.  How convenient.  In April, Biden wants to make a pledge for 2030.

 Of course, Kerry didn’t elaborate on what he would consider a “catastrophe.” Another hurricane?  Wildfire?

She Had a Deadline to Meet

SHE COULDN’T WAIT – While the conservative media were still paying homage to talk show host Rush Limbaugh, who passed away on February 17, 2021, Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan couldn’t wait to be critical of the man.

As I read Noonan’s column, I thought of the headline over Dennis Prager’s memorial op-ed in the Wall Street Journal, “The Left Hated Rush Limbaugh Because He Had Their Number,”

Rush had Noonan’s number.  “I was an elite fancy person, an establishment character of rarefied background who looked down on honest people like him and his listeners,” she wrote. “He came to see me as an apostate and attacked me for my criticisms.”

Sound familiar?  I have used this blog a number of times to criticize her as an east coast elite, with no awareness of those living in flyover country.

Pelosi Knows How to Pick ‘Em

There once was a man who became a folk hero during Hurricane Katrina in 2005. An Army general, who was critical of members of the media who pressed him during one of the daily press briefings.  They wanted someone in the state or the federal government to blame for the early feeble response.

The general bluntly told them “don’t get stuck on stupid,” saying there will be plenty of time to assess blame, but now it was time to focus on saving lives.

Since then, that man, Lt. Gen. Russel Honore (Ret.), has become an extreme left-wing partisan that Nancy Pelosi wants to oversee a “9/11-style” commission to conduct an “independent security review” into the January 6, 2021 breach of the Capitol, and it is meeting heavy opposition.

In a January 11, 2021 Tweet, Honore attacked Missouri Republican Sen. Josh Hawley for “allowing Trumpsters” to get into the Capitol.  “That little piece of sh*t with his Yale law degree should be run out of DC and disbarred ASAP.

During a January 10, 2021 interview with leftist journalist Roland Martin, Honore agreed with Martin that President Trump, Donald Trump Jr. and Rudy Giuliani should be arrested for “causing an insurrection.”

It’s a good thing we don’t hold up “folk heroes” as we do those who have won that status as protector of our democracy.

                                        Observing President Biden

As expected, most of the media are protecting President Biden by throwing him slow-pitch softball questions, then to report only that he “seemed to meander” in his response; evident in his recent townhall on CNN.

One reporter, Sky News’ Cory Bernardi, said, “It’s all pathetic, but even usually smart people are blinded by the nonsense put out by the mainstream media,” adding that Biden is “clearly not up to the task he’s been sworn to do.  Never before has the leader of the free world been so cognitively compromised.”
