WILL HE, OR WON’T HE? – When Fox’s Sean Hannity asked former President Trump if he had made up his mind about seeking the Republican nomination again in 2024 during his Texas townhall Wednesday, Trump’s response was instant – “yes.”
Of course, that could mean he has made up his mind not to run again. So, the tease continues.
“While Trump is being set up to win big in 2024 if he runs by none other than Joe Biden,” writes Matt Margolis of PJ Media, kramerontheright believes it will depend on Republican success in the 2022 midterms. It is expected that Trump will play a major role in getting that done.
I also believe that there will not be a Republican foolish enough to throw his or her hat in the ring without Trump’s blessing, and that’s not going to happen until he says he’s not running.
ARIZONA’S BIG 6-3 WIN in the Supreme Court in Brnovich v. Democrat National Committee over Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act, concluded that Arizona’s law prohibiting ballot harvesting and limiting out-of-precinct voting did not violate the VRA and these provisions were not enacted with a discriminatory purpose.
THE CLIMATE CHANGE obsession by the Biden Administration provided two more opportunities to again try to pull the wool over your eyes. I’ve said it before, the climate does change; it’s cyclical, but a goal of zero emissions isn’t going to prevent wildfires in the west, where drought conditions exist.
During his presidency, President Trump, attempted to impress upon California Governor Newsom, the need for wildfire mitigation through ground clearing. It appears as though Biden’s people heard that as Biden said the government will provide $37 million for wildfire mitigation projects in Sonoma County.
Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm took the collapse of the condo towers in Florida to suggest that “climate change could have played a key role in the deadly collapse of the Champlain Towers in Surfside, Florida.”
When pressed to comment further on this by CNN’s Erica Hill, Granholm admitted that “We don’t know fully, but we know sea levels are rising … not just in Florida … but Lake Michigan, where I’m from, we’ve seen the loss of beaches because the waters are rising.” She went on to talk about the need to support Biden’s infrastructure bill that would include
“The foolishness of her effort to propagandize for climate and Biden’s infrastructure package is underscored by her comment that Lake Michigan is rising due to sea level rise,” causing Steve Milloy, a Trump-Pence EPA transition team member, to call it “utterly ridiculous.” He pointed out that “the former Michigan governor apparently has no idea that Lake Michigan is some 577 feet above sea level, an elevation that isn’t likely to be impacted by 3 millimeters per year sea level rise.”
“Climate change is anything authoritarians want it to be, but more than anything it is the impetus to impose their will on a people unwilling to submit. Granholm can use a building collapse, without inspecting the damage, without a background in construction or engineering to stoke panic. What follows will be a government determining your housing, your transportation and your freedoms all under the guise of public safety and well-being.” – Daniel Turner, founder and executive director of Power the Future.
MY JULY FOOL’S DAY PICK – Whispering President Biden is a repeat winner of my Fool of the Day honors, having also been selected in June. His purely political decision to prohibit fireworks at Mount Rushmore in South Dakota tops a number of actions that qualify him for the July Fool’s Day “honor.” You may recall that John Kerry was my May pick and in April, I gave you an opportunity to make the selection among eight masked Democrats.
Now, more than ever … may God continue to bless the United State of America
