Revisiting Election Fraud and Bill Barr’s Book

Commentary

I find that there are a couple of topics that I have recently touched on that  require a bit of follow-up.

On Election Fraud

While I have written extensively on voting irregularities that have surfaced regarding the 2020 election, and recently mentioned that I believed it was necessary for the Republican Party to put the 2020 election behind us and concentrate on the integrity of the upcoming 2022 and 2024 elections, a new report out of Wisconsin is important to note.

Undeniable fraud was found in Wisconsin in locations always expected ripe for fraud – nursing homes, elder care facilities, assisted living facilities and homes for the mentally ill.  While residents of these places could be considered disinterested and incompetent, favorable votes from their ballots were achieved by insiders helping them fill out the ballot or just plain forging it.

While Wisconsin statutes contain procedures with respect to absentee voting by nursing home residents, designed to prevent staff or political operatives from pressuring vulnerable residents, the Wisconsin Elections Commission waived the procedure calling for trained Special Voting Deputies to supervise resident voting, supposedly in light of Covid.

You will recall how delighted Democrats were when states adopted the mail-in ballot, using Covid as the perfect excuse.  Now Democrats are pushing for the use of mail-in ballots in 2022 and 2022. They’re made for vote harvesters.

In the interim report, author Michael Gableman, a retired justice of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, stated that the Wisconsin Elections Commission unlawfully directed clerks to violate rules protecting nursing home residents, resulting in a 100 percent voting rate in many nursing homes in 2020.

Among the votes cast there were incidents of voting multiple times, voting by someone considered not of sound mind for over 10 years

While the report was not undertaken in an attempt to decertify the Wisconsin vote, it is important to know where fraud occurred as we look to assure the integrity of our elections. When you note that there are 90,000 residents in Wisconsin nursing homes, where 95 to 100 percent of the residents voted, consider that Joe Biden won the state by 20,000 votes.

Gableman has referred charges to several district attorneys for potential prosecution, according to blogger Frances Menton, who has been following the case closely.

The Barr Book

When I first reported about former Attorney General William Barr’s book, I indicated that a number of Republicans would be disappointed.  With that, I found the headline on Matt Margolis’ piece, “The Left Is About to Be Really Disappointed in Former AG Bill Barr” ironic.

I have since heard of his comments in an interview with Lester Holt of NBC News and saw the first part of Bret Baier’s Fox interview with Barr on Monday, and I believe he is being quite even-handed.

While he told Holt that he believed the former president was morally responsible for the January 6, 2021 riot at the U. S. Capitol, Barr said, “he isn’t legally culpable. I haven’t seen anything to say he was legally responsible for it in terms of incitement.”

Regarding the classified documents former President Trump took to Mar-a-Lago, Barr said he wouldn’t investigate it if he were the AG today, saying “To tell you the truth, I probably wouldn’t, citing that it probably was not illegal.  He pointed out that it’s the president, after all, who classifies and declassifies documents.

I found it interesting that he indicated that if Trump were nominated in 2024, that he would vote for him, saying “I believe that the greatest threat to the country is the progressive agenda being pushed by the Democrat Party.  It’s inconceivable to me that I wouldn’t vote for the Republican nominee.”

In an earlier post, I indicated that Barr was not impressed with the Mueller Report.  During his interview with Baier, he questioned whether Mueller was in good health, recognizing a difference in his ability to converse.

Now, more than ever … may God continue to bless the United States of America.
