Biden Says He’s ‘Sick of this Stuff!’ Well, I’ve Had it Up to Here, Too; With Him, Harris and the Entire Feckless Administration

Commentary

Allowing his temper to surface again, President Biden screamed at the top of his voice, “I’m stick of this stuff! The American people think the reason for inflation is government spending more money.  Simply not true.”

In view of the dim outlook for the party in upcoming midterm election, I’m sure he was Invited to the House Democrats’ winter retreat in Philadelphia to pep them up with a strategy for winning.  Instead, he went back to the reason he ran; to restore the soul of the country and bring a sense of decency and honor.

He talked about wanting to “rebuild the backbone of the country – the working class and middle class,” with his Build Back Better plan, but his $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan resulted in inflation, despite his denial.

With the CPI recorded at +7.9 percent, the highest of the last four decades, we saw gasoline rise +38 percent, used cars +41 percent, and groceries +8.6 percent on average.

“Don’t blame me gas prices rose because I’ve slowed down American energy production,” Biden said, as he blamed Covid, Putin and American oil producers.

“Give me a break,” he yelled, “Give me a break,” he repeated while attempting to shoot down idea that it was his stopping the Keystone XL pipeline that has played a role in energy prices.

He takes credit for Ford’s $11 billion commitment and General Motors decision to invest $7 billion to build electric cars, while ignoring the government spending involved in those decisions; subsidies and billion of dollars for charging stations.

Meanwhile, his effort to get the Saudi’s and the United Arab Emirates to play ball and supply more oil, fell flat when they refused to take calls from the White House.  So much for Biden’s “improved” international relationships.

Rather than putting a hold on his climate agenda, designed to slow fossil fuel production, Democrats, like Colorado’s Sen. Michael Bennet and Massachusetts’ Sen. Elizabeth Warren threaten to hurt producers who produce more.

Then there’s this

Vice President Harris recently said, “We are all in the midst of a turning point. We have the technology to transition to a zero-emission fleet.  We can address the climate crisis and grow our economy at the same time.” Wrong.

Who Does Biden Think He’s Fooling?

“Let me say it again, be crystal clear,” Biden told the House Democrats, “No one making less than $400,000 a year will pay a single penny in tax for all these things that were in the Build Back Better plan.”

Not a single penny more?  The Penn Wharton University of Pennsylvania Budget Model released an analysis showing average U.S. households will spend $3,500 more in 2021 just to keep up with inflation, with lower-income households particularly feeing inflation’s sting.  It has become known as a stealth tax.

The Bureau of Labor revealed price increases of 7.9 percent in the last 12 months, and there’s a hidden tax called “shrinkflation.”  Consumers are not only paying more for their regular purchases; they are getting reduced sizes. Approximately seven less chips in a bag of Doritos in a 9.25-ounce bag rather than a 9.75-ounce bag.  And 147 sheets of paper towel rather than 165 sheets in a package of Bounty Triples.

Harris Isn’t Fooling Anyone Either

Appearing with Romanian President Klaus Iohannis during a press conference, Harris again put the Peter Principle on display, demonstrating for the world to see, that she has risen to the level her incompetence.

Harris was asked, “How long should Americans expect – how long should we be bracing for – this historic inflation and some unprecedented gas prices?”

After a pause, looking down, she responded with, “In terms of the discussions that the president Johannis and I had, they ranged in subject including the issue of the Black Sea, and I’ll let him explain in more detail as he would like.

“We are, again, fully aware and apprised because we are in constant communications with the president, with his administration here about the concerns they have about the entire region and frankly the vulnerability.  All you have to is look at the map,” she concluded.

Do you need to refer back at the question?

“It’s difficult to believe that Biden could find someone less competent than himself, but he did.  Among the vast numbers of very unintelligent politicians, VP Harris is perhaps the least competent and least intelligent of them all.  Her diminished mental acuity is Biden’s insurance against replacing him.” –Sloan Oliver, the American Thinker

The latest Wall Street Journal poll, revealing that Biden and his fellow Democrats have lost ground to Republicans on several issues most important to voters didn’t brighten the outlook for the midterm among those at the left’s winter retreat.

Fifty-seven percent of the voters are unhappy with Biden’s overall job performance, but significant was the 63 percent who disapproved of his handling of inflation and the economy.

Support eroded for black voters favoring a Democrat for Congress, from 56 percent to 35 percent, while support for a Republican candidate rose to 27 percent from 17 percent last November.

Oblivious to what’s happening in the real world, Biden insisted that the party could defy history.  All they have to do is replicate their 2020 enthusiasm. “If we do that, we’re going to keep the House and Senate, and add seats,” he claimed.

Actually, I see the midterms replicating 2016, when voters had enough of Obama.

Now, more than ever … may God continue to bless the United States of America.
