Commentary
Regular readers of this blog know that I contend that Donald Trump’s loss in the 2020 election was the result of deep state suppression of Biden family corruption in the weeks leading up to election day. The election was rigged, but not by wide-spread voter fraud as the former president often insists.
The Latest Evidence
Appearing on the Joe Rogan podcast Thursday, Facebook CEO Jeff Zuckerberg revealed that the FBI paid him a visit prior to the election to alert him of potential misinformation on the Biden laptop, suggesting he be on “high alert … be vigilant.”
Surely, the man who contributed some $350 million in “Zuckerbucks” to Democrat candidates would be cooperative.
Although Zuckerberg didn’t reveal the date of the visit, it was probably about the same time that those 51 former intelligence officers signed a letter (October 19, 2020) saying, “If we are right, this is Russia trying to influence how Americans vote in this election, and we believe strongly that Americans need to be aware of this.”
News of the laptop and Biden family corruption was suppressed by the social media and the mainstream media. A survey of 1,750 voters in swing states conducted by the Media Research Center revealed that 45.1 percent of Biden voters were unaware of the financial scandals of Hunter Biden and his foreign affairs while Joe was vice president.
One of every six Biden voters (17 percent) said they would not have voted for him had they known about the stories and how the national media refused to cover it because it would hurt his candidacy.
Just two months after Biden took office, The New York Times finally conceded that the laptop story was legitimate, and a month later The Washington Post fell in line and confirmed its veracity.
A Brief Refresher
Due to the spotty reporting of the scandal, it’s important that you know what was going on behind the scenes.
On October 17, 2020, just two weeks prior to the election, Wisconsin Republican Sen. Ron Johnson, Chairman of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, in a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray, inquired about the slow walking of the investigation of the laptop.
Then, on October 21, 2020, Senator Johnson wrote to Michael E. Horwitz, the Justice Department IG, asking him to look into the investigation delays within the FBI. He noted that the agency had been in possession of the laptop since December 9, 2019.
It wasn’t until February 17, 2021 that Horowitz responded, stating that as of December 2020, Hunter Biden was being investigated for his tax affairs and that he did not want to interfere with that ongoing investigation. How convenient.
On August 4, 2022, during an appearance before the Senate Justice Committee, FBI Director Wray was questioned about purposeful delays in the investigation of the laptop prior to the election, and could only say, “I found that deeply troubling.” He needs to go.
On August 23, 2022, Senator Johnson doggedly continued to pursue the FBI’s lack of effort on his behalf, and again asked Horowitz to get involved. “New allegations provide even more evidence of FBI corruption and renewed calls for you to take immediate steps to investigate the FBI’s actions regarding the laptop.”
Johnson alleged that local FBI leadership told employees, “You will not look at that Hunter Biden laptop,” and further alleged that the FBI did not begin to examine the laptop until after the 2020 election, one year after obtaining it. Trump would not be elected if the FBI had anything to say about it.
The latest revelation of the FBI approach to Zuckerberg, and who knows others, to suppress the laptop story as misinformation, is not likely to result in any Justice Department legal action, at least not prior to the midterms.
Meanwhile, some of those same FBI and Justice Department swamp weasels responsible for the Mar-a-Lago raid, are now at work interfering with the midterms and the 2024 election, attempting to sour former President Trump’s influence, predetermining his guilt.
May God continue to bless the United States of America.
