‘Delete’ On a Keyboard Doesn’t Erase What You Have Written or Said

Just Political Games

Why is it our “leaders” seem to forget that their words are captured on video?  Time after time, they are caught, thinking the interviewer or we the people will not recall what they once said.

During Vice President Harris’ recent trip to Minneapolis, a WCCO reporter asked her if she had any comment regarding the backlash on her June 2020 Tweet, in which she urged people to contribute to the Minnesota Freedom Fund “to help post bail for those protesting on the ground in Minnesota.”

Harris failed to respond to the question of urging people to post bail, saying only, “Unfortunately, what we’re seeing is the people are playing political games right now, when we’re 18 days from midterms, and we’ve sadly not seen a lack of misinformation and disinformation.  I think this is another one of those examples.”

So, now we are to believe she never sent the Tweet and it was merely more opposition misinformation or disinformation.

But It’s Not the First Time

Appearing recently on “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” Vice President Harris was asked about President Biden issuing pardons to individuals previously convicted of cannabis-related offenses under federal law.

“Let me just start with saying this,” she responded, “I strongly believe, and the majority of Americans agree,” while turning to the audience to continue, “nobody should have to go to jail for smoking weed, right?”  Which naturally resulted in a boisterous applause from the liberal audience.

How interesting.  During her seven years as San Francisco’s district attorney, she oversaw more than 1,900 marijuana convictions.  “Prosecutors appear to have convicted people on marijuana charges at a higher rate than under her predecessor, the Mercury News reported.

Things changed when she decided to run for president.  “Too many lives have been ruined by these regressive policies,” she said.

The Democrat candidate for president, then Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, raised Harris’ marijuana conviction record in the last debate, but the remark from a fellow senator, also a candidate, Sen. Bernie Sanders, hit the nail on the head:

“Like a lot of candidates for a lot of offices, she’s come to Jesus on the issue.  But it does leave a bad taste in your mouth about how sincere or how authentic she is.”

It Depends on Who You Are

Kamala Harris and Pete Buttigieg both admitted to smoking pot, but it was over looked when President Biden cleared his staff of dozens of individuals who admitted to doing so.

The Cavalry is high-tailing it to your state and community.  You can help by voting Republican on your mail-in ballot, or better yet, by voting in person just 12 days from now.

May God continue to bless the United States of America.
