More Signs of Desperation; Democrats Enlist Two Doofus’s to Campaign for Others

Commentary

Doofus #1, Barack Obama, may be a former Democrat president, someone who you would want to campaign for you under normal circumstances, but doesn’t the left get it yet, it was his failed presidency that paved the way for Donald Trump to win in 2016?

And if you are concerned about losing the Hispanic vote, as the polls see taking place in the midterms, why in hell’s name would you bring out Obama, who in 2008 said, “I can guarantee that we will have, in the first year, an immigration bill that I strongly support,” resulting in receiving 67 percent of the Hispanic vote.

Then, after failing again to keep that promise, he toyed with Hispanics over the next couple years, he wins again in 2012 with 71 percent of the Hispanic vote.

While writing op-eds prior to starting this blog, I recalled a piece about Obama’s broken promises that surprised me at the time because it was published by the left-leaning Politico.  I found it on the Internet, and you will understand why I remembered it:

“When Barack Obama and I last sat down in 2006, I refused to shake his hand.  Today, I still won’t.  His announcement last weekend that he would delay action on immigration is his fifth broken promise to Latinos on this all-important issue for our community.” – Carmen Velasquez, September 9, 2014

In Georgia to smear Herschel Walker, who is out to unseat Sen. Raphael Warnock, Obama said, “Some of you may not remember, but Herschel Walker was a heck of a football player, but does that make him the best person to  represent you?  Let’s say you’re in the airport and you see Walker and you say, ‘Hey there’s Herschel the Heisman winner, let’s have him fly the plane.”

We haven’t forgotten how Obama was elected to the Senate with only a “community organizer” resume, and Donald Trump won with no political experience, became president.  And look at the mess we are in with Joe Biden, who has decades of political experience.

Obama was also in Georgia to campaign for Stacey Abrams, running for Governor,

In Pennsylvania – “When the fate of our democracy and a woman’s right to choose are on the line, I know John will fight for Pennsylvanians.  You can count on John Fetterman,” Obama said in a video posted on Twitter.  Obama was silent, however, after the Fetterman-Oz “debate.”

Then There’s Doofus #2 – President Biden, who says he is president, writes Robert Spencer in PJ Media, “but he is clearly not in charge and, as increasingly evident, not even capable of being in charge.

“On Thursday afternoon, Old Joe may have given us the biggest whopper ever, the most appalling lie from his career of lying over fifty years in the public eye:”

“Today, the most common price of gas in America is three dollars and thirty-nine cents, down from over five dollars when I took office.”

The average price of gas on January 20, 2021 wasn’t five dollars, it was $2.37 cents per gallon, according to Biden’s own U.S. Energy Information Administration.

Biden is out there campaigning wherever a candidate is willing to have him; in Georgia, Pennsylvania and Oregon.  Strangely, just days left before the midterms, and Old Joe isn’t in demand. He’s in Delaware for the weekend.  Probably doing campaign videos.

Meanwhile, the first lady is in New Hampshire campaigning for Sen. Maggie Hassan, who is facing a challenge from Republican Donald Buldoc.

Who Wouldn’t Want Doofus #2 campaigning for him?  On Friday night, President Biden recalled campaigning for ObamaCare in 54 states in 2018 during a speech in Pennsylvania.

Then There’s Doofus #1, former President Obama, who, while campaigning in Oregon in 2008, said he had campaigned in 57 states, and regretted that he couldn’t get to Hawaii and Alaska.

HARRIS: “RAISE YOUR HAND IF YOU LOVE SCHOOL BUSES, ”

Yes, there is a Doofus #3.  It’s Vice President Harris, who loves yellow school buses. She’s headed for Wisconsin to win over the Latino vote in Milwaukee.  It isn’t known if she will be making an appearance for Gov. Tony Evers, who is seeking reelection, or Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes, who is challenging Sen. Ron Johnson.  Johnson can only hope.

Just eight days to the midterms … may God continue to bless the United States of America.
