“What a revoltin development this is.” – William Bendix (aka Chester A. Riley)
It’s almost like an episode from the 1940s radio program and the 1950s television series, Life of Riley. Chester used to concoct a scheme to get a raise in pay or a supervisory position at the Cunningham Aircraft Plant, only to fail due to a miscalculation, and as the program ended, we would hear the quivery voice of Chester burst out with “what a revoltin development this is.”
I’m sure there were those on the left who felt the same feeling when the assassin’s bullet merely grazed former President Trump, like those in social media who wrote, “too bad he missed.”
As the 2024 presidential campaigns got underway, the Democrats had a lawfare scheme to keep former President Trump tied up in the courts, indicting him in several cases, with the help of the Biden Department of Justice and Democrat district attorneys, to make him a convicted felon by Election Day.
And they claim to be party that believes in the rule of law.
The weak New York fraud case resulted in conviction, but it is now before an appeals court and sentencing has been postponed. Likewise, cases in Washington, Florida and Georgia that have either been dismissed or are delayed with no expectation of any movement prior to Election Day.
Colorado even tried to keep Trump off the ballot, claiming he was an “insurrectionist,” but the Supreme Court voted 9-0 to block it.
Seeing failure, Biden-Harris began to label Trump as a threat to democracy, but the public wasn’t buying that according to the polls.
As their scheme was falling apart, their candidate – Joe Biden – appeared weak and confused in the early debate they wanted, including the format, television network and moderators.
For the mighty Democrat political dirty tricks machine, it turned out to be one of the great political miscalculations in presidential history. And now they’re seeing it backfire, “bigly” as Trump would say.
With increased support for Trump following Biden’s disastrous debate, and even more so after his defiant fist pumping after the shooting, the pressure on Biden to drop out mounted and continued to do so after a successful RNC convention.
With support for Biden slipping away, and one by one Democrats wanted him to drop out of the race, party leaders Obama, Schumer, Pelosi, and Jeffries told him he no longer had the support, convinced he couldn’t win.
Caving to the pressure on Sunday, Biden announced that he was dropping out of the race but would complete his term in office. Four more months to further the decline of America. That’s Biden’s idea of democracy in the Democrat Party. After persuading voters to make him the nominee, he just quits.
So there you have it. It wasn’t enough that Biden & Co. weaponized the Justice Department in an effort to defeat their opposition. When that failed, the White House staff and the complicit media participated, and were exposed, in a big cover up … a big lie … about the vim and vigor of Biden. They should pay a big price for it on November 5. “Americans won’t appreciate being played for suckers,” wrote Matthew Hennessey in the Wall Street Journal. Simply put, Biden voters are being disenfranchised.
Still confident they can beat Trump as a party with their candidacy in doubt, and the process of democratically deciding who will face Trump, they will be going into their convention in chaos, while the Republican convention was united.
What a revoltin development this is for the scheming Democrats. They deserve it.
May God continue to bless the United States of America.
