Democrat Senators Seemingly Mistake Pam Bondi for a ‘Dumb Blonde’ and Get an Awakening

Commentary

While recuperating from a fall that left me with a fractured rib, I was doing physical therapy and watched 24/7 news. I saw Attorney General, Pam Bondi, as she took on the Democrats of the Judiciary Committee.

With notes from a manila file folder, she took on Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, who called for ethics investigations into members of the Supreme Court who may have violated the rules.

“You claim to be a social justice warrior,” she said. “You rail against dark money, but you work with dark money groups.  You talk about corruption, but you’re a total hypocrite,” she added, refusing to be stopped mid-statement.

She hit him again when he tried to pursue the Epstein files, castigating Whitehouse for “sitting there making salacious remarks regarding President Trump,” while you were “taking money from one of Epstein’s closest confidants.

“And the senator right next to you (Durbin) tried to block the flight logs from being released.”

She took the opportunity to accuse Durbin of attempting to keep Trump from sending the National Guard to Chicago.

“I wish you loved Chicago as much as you hate President Trump,”  she said, adding that “If you’re not going to protect your citizens, President Trump will,” while citing Chicago’s hundreds of homicides.

Durbin should have stopped to think before he said to her, “In eight short months, you have fundamentally transformed the Justice Department and left an enormous stain on American history.”

With the Biden administration’s constant reminders of the risk a Trump win in 2024 represented, the venerable Senator Grassley offered:

“Based on the evidence to date, Arctic Frost and related weaponization by federal law enforcement under Biden was arguably worse than Watergate.”

To which, Bondi told the committee members, while looking at Durbin, Arctic Frost “was an unconstitutional, undemocratic abuse of power.”

Surely, the eight GOP senators who were surveilled during Arctic Frost by the corrupt AG Garland and FBI Director Wray, will be seeking accountability for the spying.

Bondi used the same line with California’s Senator Padilla, while citing his state’s violent crime rate 35 percent higher than the national average.

When Senator Blumenthal thought he could embarrass Bondi over various corporate mergers, I don’t think he believed she would remind him of his 2010 lie about his Vietnam service just to become a senator.

“I cannot believe that you would accuse me of impropriety when you lied about your military service,”

In another clash, Bondi took on Senator Schiff, referring to him as a failed lawyer before calling on him to apologize for “slandering” the president during the Russia investigation and needling him over wildfires and riots in Los Angeles.

Despite the leftist media charges that she’s personally seeking vengeance on those who for years used Biden’s corrupt DOJ to keep President Trump in courts, I have been impressed with the effort to assign accountability to those who abused their offices.

May God continue to bless the United States of America.
