Damned if does … Trump-hater Nicolle Wallace … Ivanka can’t win either … a white supremacy stretch from MSNBC … Democrats sink lower … the left still going after Kavanaugh … the warming hoax … another liberal professor … and laugh-of-the-day

Here are my observations and opinions on my selected news of the day.

TRUMP CAN’T WIN – He’s criticized when he doesn’t call out white supremacists, and when he does, his critics say his words are shallow.

Here is an excerpt from his statement on the El Paso and Dayton shootings:

‘These barbaric slaughters are an assault upon our communities, an attack upon our nation and a crime against all of humanity. In one voice our nation must condemn racism, bigotry and white supremacy. These sinister ideologies must be defeated.” – President Trump

An analyst on MSNBC criticized him for not speaking in the first person.

Typical of the leftist media, coverage by The New York Times and The Los Angeles Times clearly followed the Democrat talking points:

“But he stopped short of endorsing the kind of broad gun control measures … “– The New York Times

“… but stopped short of calling for stricter gun laws to prevent future attacks.” – The Los Angeles Times

During a discussion between USA Today columnist Raul Reyes and MSNBC’s host Nicolle Wallace, they raised the language the El Paso shooter allegedly used, referring to “a Hispanic invasion of Texas.” They tied it to the president’s past use of the words “invasion” and “infestation” to describe the flow of migrant at the border.

“What do you do with an infestation?” said Wallace, “With an infestation, the natural conclusion is to attempt an extermination. So, to me, there’s very little distinction between his inciting this violence and the fact that it is now happening.”

She later apologized. Too late.

In an outright slam at Trump supporters, now common in the media, Reyes responded saying, “This resonates with a portion of his base.”

Outrageous!

IVANKA CAN’T WIN EITHER – Ivanka Trump, daughter of the president, in a tweet following the shootings, wanted to remind Americans that while we grieve for those in El Paso and Dayton, multiple shootings take place nearly every weekend in Chicago:

“As we grieve over the evil mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton, let us not overlook that Chicago experienced its deadliest weekends of the year with 7 dead and 52 wounded near a playground in the Windy City – and with little or no coverage. We mustn’t become numb to the violence in inner city communities every day.”

Any normal person would agree that this tweet was well-meaning, but not to Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, who excoriated Ivanka over her statement “deadliest weekend.”  You see, Chicago actually had its deadliest weekend on June 1, 2019, when 8 were killed. And these 52 wounded didn’t all take place in the same place, and it was near a “park” not a “playground.”

The president’s daughter met with Mayor Lightfoot in May to discuss an event surrounding workforce development and economic opportunities in Chicago, after which she stated, “We are hopeful that Mayor Lightfoot is a catalyst for change in the city.”

Kramerontheright has learned that the mayor met with Ivanka even though she is not a supporter of the president, which would suggest that Lightfoot got off on the right foot, however, she may now be suffering from “foot in mouth” over petty errors in a tweet.

THEN THERE’S THIS STRETCH to tie the president to white supremacists. When the Trump administration announced the decision for flags to be flown at half-staff until August 8, 2019, MSNBC analyst Frank Figiluzzi drew a numerical connection between neo-Naziism and the Trump administration.

“Now, I’m not going to imply that he did this deliberately, but I am using it as an example of the ignorance of the adversary that’s being demonstrated by the White House,” he said. “The numbers 88 (August 8) are very significant in neo-Nazi and white supremacy movement. Why? Because the letter “H” is the eighth letter of the alphabet, and to them the numbers 8/8 together stand for ‘Heil Hitler.’”

DEMOCRATS SINK EVEN LOWER – The name-calling of the president as a racist and white supremacist continues by all of the Democrat presidential candidates, including Apology Joe Biden, who has moved so far to the left that he can longer be called moderate. Beto O’Rourke, unsuccessfully trying to become relevant, couldn’t wait to return to El Paso to rile up his meager following before and during the president’s visit.

THERE’S MORE – Far left radical Democrats decided it would be fun to protest at the home of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell in Louisville, Kentucky, where he recuperating from a shoulder injury incurred in a fall.

A video of a woman in the protest found its way onto Facebook Live, saying she hopes someone “just stabs the mother**ker in the heart, please.”

Tim Ryan, who you probably haven’t heard of (he’s a Democrat from Ohio running for president with no chance of winning) is planning to lead a caravan from several Ohio cities to McConnell’s home.  Shame!

THEN THERE’S THIS – In another scheme to taunt the Trump administration, Jerry Nadler’s House judiciary Committee has asked the National Archives to release documents from Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s service in the George W. Bush White House.

After Senate Democrats spent months smearing Kavanaugh’s reputation in an effort to block his nomination to the Supreme Court, House Democrats want to conduct a fishing expedition to further tarnish his good name.

BLAMING THE HEAT ON CLIMATE CHANGE is one thing. We know that the climate has changed over the world as far back as records have been kept. It’s cyclical. But to blame recent heat waves on global warming is a falsehood.

A friend of mine, who has obviously read my previous pieces on the multiple predictions of the end of the world as we know it, sent me some interesting information on all-time high temperatures from an article, “Throwing cold water on extreme heat hype,” by Dr. Joel N. Myers, AccuWeather founder and CEO.

This information couldn’t surface at a better time. We have a passel of Democrats who want to be president, each with their own plan to attack the “existential threat” of climate change.  Apology Joe Biden, for instance, told the last debate audience that there would be be no place for fossil fuels, including coal and fracking in the Biden administration.

“Here is a fact rarely, if ever, mentioned: 26 of the 50 states set their all-time high temperature records during the 1930s that still stand (some have since been tied).

“And an additional 11 state all-time high temperature records were set before 1930 and only two states have all-time record high temperatures that were set in the 21st century (South Dakota and South Carolina).

“So, 37 of the 50 states have an all-time high temperature record not exceeding more than 75 years. Given these numbers and the decreased frequency of days of 100 degrees or higher, it cannot be said that either the frequency or magnitude of heat waves are more common today.”

Myers cited an interesting fact about hot weather in Kansas City, Missouri. The city experienced an average of 18.7 days a year at over 100 degrees or higher during the 1930s, compared to just 5.5 days a year over the last 10 years. And over the past 30 years, KC has averaged only 4.8 days a year at 100 degrees or higher.

ANOTHER LIBERAL PROFESSOR – New York New School professor Richard Wolff is calling for the abolition of grades, claiming they are not only unfair to students, but that they are a means of propping up capitalism, and as such, academia would be better off doing away with grades entirely. He says grades “disrespect (students) as thinking people.”

Wolff has been known to promote Marxism and condemn capitalism, according to Celine Ryan of Campus Reform.

The fact that Wolff has complained the “grading takes up much of my time,” tells me something about his motive.

AND FINALLY, MY LAUGH-OF-THE DAY from Mark Twain: “Suppose you were an idiot. And suppose you were a member of Congress. But then I repeat myself.”

May God continue to bless the United State of America.
