Remember when so many Americans thought it would be meaningful if a black man was elected to be our president? People around the world would no longer see us as racists. Continue reading

Cover-ups at State Department continue
I must tell you, I get a great deal of satisfaction when a story surfaces that tends to validate an opinion that I have previously stated in this blog. Continue reading
State Department Inspector General issues critical report of Hillary Clinton’s e-mail practices
Hillary Clinton lacks judgement and leadership qualities.
White House spin on war continues
Perhaps you haven’t heard. President Obama has ended two wars. He has stated so several times, and his closest advisor Valerie Jarrett confirmed it on CBS’ 60 Minutes last Sunday. Continue reading
Washington Post army of reporters to dig into Trump’s past while working on the ‘essence’ of Hillary
“There’s a lot we don’t know. We have 20 people working on Trump, we’re going to do a book, we’re doing articles about every phase of his life.” – Bob Woodward
During an appearance on Fox’s Media Buzz this morning, host Howard Kurtz asked the Washington Post’s Bob Woodward about the report that his newspaper has a team of 20 reporters assigned to a Donald Trump book project. The paper will also periodically publish findings in the Post. Continue reading

Recalling the concern I had about Ben Rhodes
We learned that the New York Times will be publishing a story on Sunday about Ben Rhodes, a foreign policy advisor to President Obama, duping the public on the Iran nuclear deal by creating a false narrative. According to leaked information, the story will reveal how Rhodes pushed information leading us to believe the administration was dealing with Iranian moderates, while we were actually talking to the ayatollahs. It is sure to be a major topic in the news in the days ahead. Continue reading

Personally, I am not a Trump fan. I just cannot get past his boorish bragging, his callous insults and his inability to articulate policy specifics. I’m not alone. A friend has been sending me articles on Trump, saying “I’m still learning to love him because I may have to vote for him.” Continue reading
USA Today gives new meaning to ‘fact check’
As I opined yesterday, Donald Trump’s foreign policy speech this week fell flat among experts. And this morning, the left-leaning USA Today did a quasi fact check of the speech. Continue reading
Trump is the desperate one in the race
We’ve been inundated with fawning reports of Donald Trump’s big wins on the east coast earlier this week, but do you know that Hillary Clinton beat him soundly with the popular vote in those five states? Earlier in New York, Clinton’s adopted home state, she trounced Trump in his home state 1,054,000 to 525,000. Democrat delegates in New York more than double those of the Republican Party.
