Follow-Ups to My Previous Commentaries

Commentary

Regular readers may recall my November 2, 2023 commentary on news follow- ups.  We often read a story and later wonder what happened, what was the outcome.  Here are a few follow ups that may interest you.

A FOLLOW-UP – From time to time I quote from the Letters to the Editor column in the Wall Street Journal when their readers comment on a subject I wrote about here. … read more

2024 Presidential Election Campaign Report No. 6

Commentary

Before I cover the latest news along the campaign trails, I would be remiss if I didn’t wish my subscribers on the distaff side a Happy Valentine’s Day.  Your regular reading of my blog is appreciated.

FIRST, A LITTLE HUMOR – Fox’s Greg Gutfeld, now the king of late night, calling attention to the national poll revealing 86 percent of Americans think Biden is too old to serve another term in his monologue: “Think about it … 86 percent of Americans agree … Joe Biden’s promise to unify us finally came true … he brought us together.”read more

Former President Trump Is Indicted While Hillary Quietly Pays Meager Fine

Commentary

How often have we heard ‘nobody’s above the law,’ and how about the denial that there are two tiers of justice?

FORMER PRESIDENT TRUMP IN COURT.

While the leftist media repeated their sorrow over the unprecedented indictment of a U.S. president, they couldn’t hide their giddiness that it was former President Trump, who they have been after for more than eight years.… read more

It’s Been a Wonderful Week for True Patriots

Commentary

What a wonderful week it has been for Americans who have been seeking retribution, accountability, defense of the First Amendment and the preservation of democracy.

We have Elon Musk, Michael Shellenberger, Matt Taibbi, Tyler Vargas-Andrews, Reps. Kevin McCarthy and Michael McCaul and Tucker Carlson to thank.

The likes of founders Thomas Jefferson and Patrick Henry and more recent respected individuals like Chesty Puller and Charles Pulitzer would be proud. … read more

Biden’s Mishandling of Classified Documents Inadvertently Puts his Attorney General in a Box

Commentary

The current brouhaha over Attorney General Merrick Garland’s decision not to involve the FBI in the search of classified documents in the possession of President Biden at various locations is but the latest among a long list of criticism of the DOJ’s role by the opposition party no matter who’s the AG.… read more

The Politicization of Justice Won’t Result in True Accountability

Commentary

By now, regular readers know how strongly I feel about demanding accountability for wrongdoing.  On a number of occasions, I have written about individuals who have eluded charges, not because they are not culpable, but primarily because of who they are or who they represent.

Now, with the House January 6 Committee’s partisan investigation complete, it is asking the Department of Justice to consider prosecution of former President Trump on four criminal charges, including “inciting or assisting an insurrection, obstruction of an official proceeding, conspiracy to make false statements to investigators and conspiracy to defraud the US government.”… read more

Despositions in Obama IRS Scandal Reveal Full Knowledge of Agency Abuse of Taxpayers

Commentary

Over the years, we have seen a number of occasions when we were reminded that the wheels of justice turn exceedingly slow.

Regular readers will recall my persistence in finding individuals accountable for wrongdoing regardless of how long it takes and regardless if no jail time results.

For instance, I never believed we would see Hillary Clinton serve any time for her dereliction of duty over the deaths of four Americans during the Benghazi raid,  for her mishandling of classified documents and thousands of missing e-mails, nor for her involvement in the fabrication of the Russian dossier.… read more

Be Aware and Thankful for Elon Musk

Commentary

‘Hey, hey, get your program here …you can’t tell the players without a program … hey, hey …That used to be a familiar shout out one would hear from someone holding a stack of programs as you entered a stadium for a sporting event.

For those of you just coming in from the dark to learn that our politicized FBI was complicit in censoring information about Hunter Biden and the corruption of the Biden family, this should be of interest. … read more
