Newly found e-mails reveal Lois Lerner’s hostility toward conservatives
“So we don’t need to worry about alien terrorists. It’s our own crazies (Republicans) that will take us down, “wrote Lois Lerner to a friend on Nov. 9, 2012.
“And I’m talking about the hosts of these shows. The callers are rabid,” her friend responded.
“Great. Maybe we are through if there are that many (A) holes,” wrote Lerner.
“Well, you should hear the whacko wing of the GOP. The US is through; too many foreigners suck the teat; time to hunker down, buy ammo and food for the end. The right wing radio shows are scary to listen to,” her friend continued.
Though seemingly trivial in nature, this e-mail exchange released Wednesday by the House Ways and Means Committee clearly reveals Lerner’s feelings toward conservative groups and singling them out for extra scrutiny.
“Lois Lerner’s exposed emails show the world she was and is a political hack driven by her own partisan agenda rather than a neutral public servant,” said Grover Norquist, president of Americans for Tax Reform.
“This email shows that Ms Lerner’s mistreatment of conservative groups was driven by her personal hostility toward conservatives,” wrote Rep. Dave Camp (R-MI) in a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder as additional input for a criminal referral.
And let’s not forget this infamous quote on the IRS scandal:
“Not even a smidgeon of corruption,” President Obama, Feb. 2, 2014
Hamas apologists on the left
“(Hamas) had its back against the wall,” remarked Hillary Clinton. “I’m not a military planner (duh), but Hamas puts its missiles, its rockets, in civilian areas. Part of it is that Gaza’s pretty small and it’s densely populated.” And she wants to be president!
Still pushing for a two-state solution between Israel and Hamas (Palestinians), Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), who has dreams of again becoming speaker of the house, says we have to support both sides and “confer with the Qataris, who have told me over and over again that Hamas is a humanitarian organization; maybe they could use their influence to …”
Did you know Mother Nature was racist?
“While climate change hurts everyone, communities of color and low-income Americans are the hardest hit,” wrote EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy and Nikki Silvestri, executive director of Green for All in an op-ed appearing in Investor’s Business Daily, July 30, 2014. “Underserved communities are the least equipped to deal with more intense super-storms, severe weather and extreme temperatures fueled by climate change.”
Pushing the administration’s Clean Power Plan, they continue to spread the myth that the shift to cleaner, more efficient and more sustainable energy will create thousands of clean-energy jobs in construction, transmission, engineering and more. “These green-color jobs will not only improve the health of the country’s most vulnerable populations,” they wrote, ”but also will create pathways out of poverty for countless families.” We’ve heard this before.
If McCarthy was serious about the latter, she would convince her boss to approve the Keystone XL pipeline, which will not only improve emissions over rail and over-the-road tanker truck transporting, but open the door to thousands of jobs, allowing low income people to escape those “underserved communities.”
It’s too late, Hillary … you said it.
“Well, I regret it. It was inartul. It was accurate, but we are so successful and we’re so blessed by the success we’ve had and my husband has worked incredibly hard,” said Hillary Clinton in an interview with Fusion TV. Read that quote again. She continues to be inartful. If she wanted to clarify her earlier statement about being “dead broke” when she and Bill left the White House, wouldn’t you think she would have rehearsed an “artful” response? And she wants to be president.
Incidentally, the Washington Examiner and Judicial Watch found that the former president gave 215 speeches and earned $48 million while his wife presided over U.S. foreign policy, raising questions about whether the Clintons fulfilled ethics agreements related to the Clinton Foundation.
From the president who said, “I won.”
“Stop just hating all the time. Come on. Let’s get some work done together,” President Obama advised Republicans at a fundraiser in Kansas City on Wednesday. I suggest he take that phone or pen that he boasts about and contact his Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), who is sitting on 300 House approved bills, including some 40 jobs bills. The Republican-led House has been working while the Democrat-led Senate is truly the “do nothing” arm of Congress.
