He did … a new Kavanaugh hearing, but … SF Chronicle slams Feinstein … no criticism of Dem foul-mouths … Obama still in love with himself … and economic news

Here are my observations and opinions on selected news of the day.

HE DID, is the answer to the question I posed on September 15, 2018, “Will he or won’t he” regarding a decision to declassify FISA court documents and text messages by Deep State scoundrels Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Page and Ohr.

Now we await the declassification process to be completed to give us the transparency that has so far been stonewalled.

A NEW HEARING FOR KAVANAUGH has been scheduled for Monday, but don’t expect him to get a fair hearing.

Even if Judiciary Committee Chairman Sen. Chuck Grassley establishes firm process rules and adheres to them throughout the hearing, many people are expecting it to be another circus with the likes of Democrats Booker, Harris, Durbin, and Blumenthal scrambling for the center ring in television’s spotlight.

“Without the emergence of new evidence, we will never know if Christine Blasey Ford’s accusation against Brett Kavanaugh is true or not. And there’s nothing Kavanaugh can do or say that will clear his name. If you’re a man, a single uncorroborated account that dates back to 1982 is all your political critics need to accuse you of attempted rape,” writes David Harsanyi in The Federalist.

“There is no possible outcome in which Democrats will concede Kavanaugh’s innocence, or even concede that we can’t really know what transpired on that night 36 years ago.”

DON’T DISCOUNT the Democrat’s desire to further delay Kavanaugh’s confirmation even though a hearing has been scheduled. They have asked for a new FBI investigation of the judge, who has already submitted to six such investigations.

As I write this, the accuser has indicated she will not appear until after a new FBI investigation is completed, obviously another obstructionist delay of game orchestrated by the Democrats.

REPUBLICANS ARE IN THE GAME, TOO – Senators Flake and Corker are among a handful of weak-kneed Republicans while Senators Collins and Murkowski are again playing the “moderate” game seeking special attention. Collins did, however, question the last-minute tactics by Democrats. This will now test the ability to get Kavanaugh confirmed this month without caving to Dem demands.

UNBELIEVEABLY, The San Francisco Chronicle harshly criticized Sen. Dianne Feinstein in an editorial.

“Feinstein, a California Democrat, took the worst possible course by waiting until almost a week after Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing was completed to ominously announce that she had turned over ‘information from an individual’ about Kavanaugh to the FBI, and adding that she would be honoring the woman’s ‘strongly requested’ confidentiality.

“In concealing the accusation she had received in July, according to reports, Feinstein did a disservice to her Judiciary Committee colleagues, who might have wanted to determine if corroborating accounts were available, or at least question Kavanaugh about the accusation in a closed session.”

FLASHBACK – Lest we forget … it was Senator Feinstein who, during questioning of Amy Comey Barrett for her nomination to the Seventh U.S. District Court of Appeals, fretted over Barrett’s Catholicism and stated that “The dogma lives loud within you.”

And then we learn that Feinstein, with her supposed intelligence credentials, employed a Chinese spy for 20 years.

ENOUGH OF THE ‘OLD WHITE MEN’ of the Senate criticism. Where were you when female court nominees Ginsburg, Sotomayor and Kagan were unanimously confirmed by those “old white men?”

MY TURN – Feinstein is a sad, old, white woman of pathetic character.

DEMOCRATS CRITICIZE TRUMP for his tone and the occasional crudeness of his rhetoric, while the media and fellow liberals give their foul-mouth people a pass when they rudely attack the sitting president and those who elected him.

“He (President Trump) is the rare combination of an eight-year-old boy – I mean, he’s got the maturity of an eight-year-old boy with the insecurity of a teenage girl.” – John Kerry, appearing on the Bill Maher show

“They’re (Trump supporters) a small percentage of the American people, virulent people. Some of them, the dregs of society.” –Joe Biden, appearing at a human rights dinner

Apparently, Biden felt Hillary Clinton’s reference to Trump supporters as being “deplorables” wasn’t strong enough; thus, the use of “dregs of society.” How does Biden, who considers himself the hero of blue-collar voters, think this comment will endear him to voters in 2020?

Of course, many of you will recall Biden telling a group with a significant number of blacks that “(Republicans will) put you all back in chains,” during an August 14, 2012 campaign appearance in Virginia.

“Ole Joe” Biden and “Swift Boat” Kerry get a pass, and President Trump needs to be impeached.

THEN THERE’S OBAMA, who’s still in love with himself. I wrote last week about his use of “I,” “me,” and “my” 168 times in two California speeches. Speaking in Ohio this week, he talked about himself 79 times during a 40-minute speech.

And, he continues to use that fabricated stutter someone must have told him is cute. During the campaign rally for two candidates he said, “Let, let, let, let, let me just say these, these are friends of mine,” reported Kyle Olson, The American Mirror.

It took Obama nine uses of the word “we” to make a point on spending -“We, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we spend …” – according to Olson.

Admitting in his speech that as president he had been told – “Barack, you’re talking too long … you’re explaining stuff too long” – he didn’t get around to talking about the candidates until half way into his remarks.

ECONOMIC NEWS “We must give President Trump the lion’s share of credit for the good economic news. Massive deregulation has greased the skids and tax cuts have encouraged capital investment as well as buying power for consumers,” reported the Boston Herald … In the Washington Examiner, former CEO of Nucor steel company Dan DiMicco writes that President Trump is delivering on trade deals for American workers … and The Examiner’s Paul Bedard reports that “72 percent of blue-collar workers and 76 percent white-collar workers are optimistic about their future

May God bless the United States of America.
