Special Edition: The Importance of the Midterm Elections to America’s future

While the midterm election date, November 6, 2018, is still 48 days off, I am publishing this special edition now because early voting and absentee voting begins in parts of the nation on September 21, 2018.

Republicans must be energized to vote and rewrite the mantra that the party in power loses seats and control in the midterms

Understandably, we are not voting for president, but the media wants to make it a referendum on President Trump’s presidency and remind us repeatedly of his approval rating.

Your vote is about his agenda to make America great again, to continue his agenda of keeping promises made. You are voting for the Representatives and Senators he needs to advance his agenda.

If you are aren’t sure about President Trump’s accomplishments to date, I encourage you to click here to see a complete rundown of promises kept, foreign and domestic.

President Trump will be our president until 2020. Certainly, thinking Americans don’t want him hamstrung by radical leftists in the House and Senate over the next two years.

The media likes to talk about the chaos in the White House, but real chaos is what we would have if Republicans were to lose the House, and especially the Senate.

Democrats pledge to take away your tax cut and have nothing to offer individuals.

Most people voted for Donald Trump because they were tired of what was being offered by Hillary Clinton. He has accomplished more than any previous modern- day president over the same period. There is no question that we are better off today than we were in 2016.

You are voting to keep our economy growing, to strengthen our national security, to promote constitutionally-based courts, and to preserve our religious freedoms.

With Your Vote Republicans Can Win and Maintain Control

Surely, you’ve heard about the Democrat blue wave that is predicted to sweep across the nation, and perhaps the double-digit enthusiasm gap Democrats currently enjoy over Republicans.

On the good side, Republicans still hold a three-point lead on the generic ballot in districts where GOP enthusiasm is down, according to a Club for Growth poll, which revealed that 25 percent of those polled are “persuadable” if they hear the right message.

Candidates must continue to tout the tax cuts and the promise to make them permanent along with other achievements while painting the scary picture of Nancy Pelosi and Democrats who want to reverse the popular reforms and promote open borders.

The fact that early and absentee voting begins in six states this week troubles me, primarily because a lot can happen between now and November 6, 2018.

Regardless, wherever you reside please vote for Republican Representatives and Senators to enable the Trump administration to continue the greatness agenda.  We have an opportunity to pick up Senate seats in red states won by Trump in 2016.

It is not a time for complacency.

May God bless the United States of America
