No Democrat talent … and white women attacked by women on the left

Observations and opinions on my selected news of the day.

THAT DEMOCRAT FIELD OF TALENT – While Democrats continue to wonder just who will take the party leadership role – Biden, Sanders, Warren, Harris or Booker – the New Hampshire Democrat Party settled on actor Alec Baldwin to be the headliner at its inaugural Eleanor Roosevelt Dinner Sunday night. How pathetic.

Previously known as the “Jefferson-Jackson Dinner,” it became the “Kennedy-Clinton Dinner” in 2016, but when the controversy over sexual harassment surfaced, it was renamed for Eleanor Roosevelt. Presumably a safe decision.

NHGOP Chairman Wayne MacDonald jumped at the opportunity to poke fun of the choice of Baldwin over a “Democrat field as talented for 2020 as the Democrats claim.”

“We implement change in America through elections,” Baldwin said. “In that orderly way, we need to overthrow the government of the United States under Donald Trump. Not in a violent, awful way, but it must be overthrown nonetheless. Let’s make America great again, by making Donald Trump a casino operator again.”

DEMS ON THE FAR-LEFT TARGET “WHITE WOMEN” – White women will surely remember how Hillary Clinton characterized those who voted for Donald Trump as the equivalent of Stepford Wives, intimating that they succumbed to “ongoing pressure to vote the way that your husband, your boss, your son, whoever, believes you should.”

And Hillary’s back, pushing incivility.

If that wasn’t bad enough. A white woman, who is a proven loser, insults white women who didn’t buy her first woman president campaign. Now we see a black activist, Tamika D. Mallory, taking on white women.

“We’ve seen the system (and white women) fail us over and over again,” Mallory wrote in a Huffington Post column entitled, “White Women: Stop Waiting for Black Women to Save You.” Pardon me.

Mallory referred to Sen. Susan Collins as an instrument of “white supremacy and patriarchy,” and says “it’s time (for women) to stand with us – behind us.”

Activist Linda Sarsour (thedailybeast)

There’s more. Linda Sarsour, a Palestinian-American activist of Women’s March fame, with ties to Muslim advocacy and Black Lives Matter, denounced Senator Collins as “the mother and grandmother of white women in America who gave us a Donald Trump presidency.”

“The Left is lumping white women together into a giant bloc subject to absurdly broad stereotyping and vitriolic condemnation,” writes Kyle Smith in a National Review article, “’White Women’ Becomes a Disparaging Term.”

“The left will have only itself to blame if white women increasingly feel put off by its nasty ad feminam attacks,” Smith concludes.

If ever white women had a reason to vote against Democrat leftists, it’s now.
