Here are my observations and opinions on my selected news of the day
OF COURSE, BLAME IT ON TRUMP – The union representing the guards at the jail, where sex trafficker and abuser Jeffrey Epstein was being held up until his suicide, are blaming his death on overworked guards due to budget cuts made by President Trump. Ridiculous!
IT’S THE LEFT THAT IS INCITING VIOLENCE – I have written about the incessant ranting of racism and white supremacy aimed at President Trump and his supporters by celebrities and news anchors on the left.
The Castro brothers insist that Joaquin’s tweeting the names and associations of San Antonio people, who have donated to the Trump campaign, was not meant to incite violence, but merely to point out that they support his policies.
They had better hope some wingnut doesn’t take their finger-pointing seriously. The tweet caused at least one of those listed to call a family meeting to discuss possible actions against them.
THEN THERE’S BETO O’Rourke, the Democrat candidate for president who some saw as they next Kennedy, who was trapped by a question from CNN’s Jake Tapper, according to Rick Moran at PJ Media.
“You said to me last week that you thought President Trump as a white nationalist,” said Tapper, “Almost 63 million Americans voted for him. Do you think it is racist to vote for President Trump in 2020?”
After a long pause from O’Rourke said, “I think it’s really hard,” as he rattled off a series of anti-Trump talking points laced with lies, exaggerations, and deliberate misstatements of fact.
Then came the capper from Tapper. “If you want their votes, doesn’t that make (you) a racist, too?”
“Needless to say,” wrote Moran, attacking Trump supporters and asking for their votes, “is not a winning strategy.”
AT MSNBC, where the duo at “Morning Joe” and their regulars are spewing anti-Trump hate, they, too, are actively going after the president’s supporters, suggesting that your association with him makes you a racist and a white supremacist as well.
During MSNBC’s “All In With Chris Hayes,” contributor Elie Mystal sounded off against Stephen Ross, who was hosting a fundraiser for the president. He called for protestors to show up outside his home with “pitchforks and torches.”
“People of color are already targets under this administration. I have no problem shining the light back on the donors who fund this kind of racialized hate,” Mystal was permitted to say without question by Hayes.
Rather, Hayes said, “Totally. Your point is how does civil society deal with what we’re seeing, right?”
Not with torches and yelling motherf**ker in front of someone’s home at night.
MICHIGAN BREAKFAST CHAIN, Anna’s House, in eight locations in the state, voted #1 Best Breakfast in Michigan, is seeing hundreds of social media users posting that they will no longer be eating at Anna’s after learning the management gave $15,000 to fundraising through “Trump Victory,” according to Alex Parker in Red State.
It all began with facebooker Doug Chu, who says his “political beliefs come from being a Christian and paying attention to the kind of society God wants people to live in.
Anna’s owner Josh Beckett released a statement, “I am proud to live in a country where we are free to have different opinions and to support a candidate of our choice. Embracing these differences and respecting each other despite them is what makes our country great. If you are looking for an open, supportive and accepting place to enjoy a great meal and conversation, Anna’s House is here for you.”
“Participating in boycotts is one’s right as a citizen,” writes Parker, “but in my view, you’re giving up palatable ecstasy for a wrong cause. Eat a pancake – it’s delicious.”
“OH! WHAT A TANGLED WEB WE WEAVE when first we practice to deceive.” That quote from Sir Walter Scott’s play “Marmion” fits to a T the web weaved by Bruce and Nellie Ohr in their participation of a Deep State coup against Donald Trump.
There has been a drip, drip, drip of information since I told you of Judicial Watch’s effort to obtain communications between the Ohr’s in my August 10, 2019 post.
“If there was ever any doubt about the depth and extent of the deep-state coup against both candidate and President Donald J. Trump and the number of deep-state actors attempting to thwart the will of the American people,” comments Daniel John Sobieski in American Thinker, “it vanished with the release of partially redacted copies of former Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr’s FBI 302 reports (interview summaries).
The information obtained reveals that the Ohr’s were active participants in the plot to deny Trump the presidency. “(It confirms) that the FBI knew the Steele Dossier, paid for by the DNC and the Hillary Clinton (campaign) was a fake when they applied to the FISA court for warrants to surveil American citizens. They detail the involvement of the State Department and others in the Obama administration,” says Sobieski.
In late September 2016, Ohr describes a person (likely Christopher Steele) as “desperate that Donald Trump not get elected and was passionate about him not being the U.S. President.”
The information obtained again confirmed that Steele “spoke with a staff member of Sen. John McCain’s office sometime prior to October 2016.”
Regular readers will recall that I have previously written about McCain’s involvement.
The Ohr’s network of associates included Robert Mueller’s top deputy, Andrew Weissmann, FBI agent Peter Strzok, former FBI lawyer Lisa Page, former deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe, and Glenn Simpson of Fusion GPS.
Sobieski reminded his readers that Bruce Ohr had received a $28,000 performance award during the time he was involved in the coup against Trump.
Kramerontheright is looking forward to further draining of the swamp once the work of DOJ IG Michael Horowitz and U.S. Attorney John Durham is concluded.
FROM ILLINOIS, the Land of Lincoln, comes word that its Democrat governor, J. B Pritzker, signed a bill mandating that “in public schools only, the teaching of. history shall include a study of the roles and contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in the history of the state and our country.”
What is it with Democrats and their fixation on identity politics? Why is it necessary to include someone’s sexual preference when recognizing that individual for his or her role or contribution to society?
AND FINALLY, another great truth today from Winston Churchill: “The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of the blessings. The inherent blessing of socialism is the equal sharing of misery.”
May God continue to bless the United States of America.
