Deadline for DOJ IG report? … the Swamp rats are getting nervous … Obama implicated … recalling Rice’s CYA memo … leaks for tickets in FBI … Pelosi in denial or is it dementia? … Minneapolis mayor extortion … and Michigan Dem gets booed at townhall

Here are my observations and opinions on my selected news of the day.

FOR MORE THAN A YEAR, we’ve been promised that DOJ IG Michael Horowitz’s report on the wrong doing in the FBI and Justice Department would be released “in March, “mid-year,” and “perhaps next month.”

Now, it appears that day is finally coming, or so it seems.  The federal judge in the case of former Deputy Director of the FBI Andrew McCabe, has warned the Justice Department that an indictment on McCabe better be forthcoming by November 15, 2019, or they must drop the case.

Since the case against McCabe is sure to be confirmed in Horowitz’s report, it seems to Kramerontheright that the judge has provided Horowitz with a deadline to finally release his findings.

It has been rumored that Horowitz had submitted the draft of his report to Attorney General William Barr last month.

THE SWAMP RATS ARE GETTING NERVOUS about the potential findings in IG report and the Durham investigation.  Perhaps you’ve noticed how “old Washington” has been attacking Barr in an effort to delegitimize him before the report is even released.

JAMES CLAPPER – Just doing what Obama told him to do. (ap/pablomartinezmonsivais

During a Monday interview on CNN, former DNO James Clapper, now a CNN contributor, was asked by anchor Jim Sciutto if he was concerned about the Barr-Durham investigation into the scandal and whether it will find any wrong doing on his part.

“Well, I don’t know, I don’t think there was any wrong doing,” Clapper responded, he was just doing “what the then commander-in-chief, President Obama, told us to do.”

“It’s kind of disconcerting now to be investigated for, you know, having done our duty and done what we were told to do by the president.” James Clapper

Few people noticed when Clapper said in a July interview with Anderson Cooper, “If it weren’t for President Obama, we might not have done the intelligence community assessment that we did that set off a whole sequence of events which are still unfolding today, notably, special counsel (Robert) Mueller’s investigation.  President Obama is responsible for that, and it was he who tasked us to do that in the first place.” No doubt because it was on the little-watched CNN.

No doubt, Clapper is nervous, and he should be.

OBAMA WAS IMPLICATED in the FBI scandal in a September 2, 2016 text message to FBI agent Peter Strzok from his lover, FBI lawyer Lisa Page, in which she revealed “potus (president of the United States) wants to know everything we’re doing,” She also referred to a meeting with “D” (FBI Director Comey) to develop talking points, because of Obama’s interest.

Surely, you recall how Obama, just days before his departure in January 2017, expanded the government’s surveillance powers, allowing the National Security Agency (NSA) to share raw globally intercepted personal data with the government’s other intelligence agencies.

It gave 17 government agencies access to Americans’ data without requiring a warrant.  Agencies like the CIA were given the ability to filter through raw data intercepted and collected from foreign networks and satellite transmission, including phone calls, e-mails, and other personal data.

THEN THERE WAS THE CYA MEMO by Obama’s former National Security Advisor Susan Rice on January 20, 2017, the day of Donald Trump’s inauguration, that was, as many people believed, her attempt to protect herself from consequences if the scheme against President Trump was discovered.

The memo was meant to make the point that President Obama “stressed his continued commitment to ensuring that every aspect of his issue is handled by the intelligence and law enforcement communities by the book.”

The Deep State was, and is real, folks.

TICKETS FOR LEAKS – The Daily Caller has learned that the FBI’s top press officer, Michael Kortan, accepted tickets to Washington Nationals games from a CNN contact on a number of occasions.  The Justice Department declined prosecution in the case, but Kortan has resigned.

IS PELOSI SUFFERING FROM DEMENTIA? – In my October 3, 2019 report, “Pardon my repeating” was my effort to repeat Rep. Adam Schiff’s opening remarks of the hearing with DNI Joseph Maguire during which Schiff made up words he wanted you to believe were the words of President Trump.

I repeated it because of my concern that there were millions of people who were taken in by his fabrication, believing they were the words of the president, but were unaware of his later admission that they were not the words of the president, and that it was done as a parody.

It seems as though House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is still not aware of Schiff’s fabrication, and is either suffering from dementia or in denial.  Appearing on ABC News with George Stephanopoulos, Pelosi did her usual political tip toe on the event.

After reminding her “you talk about the dignity with which you handle this (impeachment investigation) – ‘the fairness, the calmness, the seriousness’ – “was it right for him (Schiff) to have that dramatic moment – reading of his interpretation of the president’s transcript of the phone call at the hearing last week?” he asked. “Did that follow the kind of process you want?”

After bloviating about what the American people want, Pelosi said, “So yeah, it’s fair.  It’s sad. But it’s using the president’s own words.”

Stephanopoulos responded, saying, “Well those weren’t the president’s words.  It was an interpretation of the president’s words.”

She then stammered, “Well, it was a … you mean, the … the note?  The notes from the call, is that what you’re telling me?”

Stephanopoulos followed with, “He (Schiff) went before then committee saying “this is what the president was saying in essence … and it was, basically a dramatic reading.  They’re (Republicans) are saying he made this up.”

“He did not make it up,” Pelosi said. “And … and … look,” she stammered, before slipping into a soliloquy that included her taking an oath, a defense of the Constitution, gun safety, the dreamers. and climate change.

That was enough to draw Stephanopoulos off subject.

SPEAKING OF SCHIFF, I got a good laugh out of the Townhall headline on Derek Hunter’s recent piece – “On Impeachment, Democrats Have Schiff For Brains.”

MINNEAPOLIS MAYOR Jacob Frey, may be believing President Trump’s speculation that Minnesota may go red in 2020.  He has demanded $530,000 in security costs for a Trump campaign rally to be held there Thursday. That’s 26 times the cost of security for a 2009 Obama rally.

FRESHMEN DEMOCRATS, who won in districts won by Donald Trump in 2016, are walking a fine line when they support his impeachment.  Rep. Elissa Slotkin, who represents Michigan’s 8ith District, covering an area on the Northwest fringes of Detroit, including part of Bloomfield Hills and Birmingham, was booed by Trump supporters during a recent townhall in the Hartland Township library.

Slotkin is convinced that the president asked the Ukraine president to “dig up dirt on an American (Biden),” even though the phone transcript does not bear that out.

May God continue to bless the United States of America.
