The Barr non-hearing … Biden believes women need his help … what an insult … women for Trump … promises kept … and a Christian’s view of the election

Here are my observations and opinions from my select news of the day.

“THIS IS A HEARING … I thought I was supposed to be heard?” said a calm, but frustrated Attorney General Bill Barr during an embarrassing House Judiciary Committee Oversight Committee “hearing” on Tuesday.  Nuf said.

BIDEN’S VIEW OF WOMEN – In my last blog posting, I stated that it was difficult for me to accept the polls that indicate women prefer a Joe Biden presidency and government dependency over their lives that it promises to provide.

The article, “Joe Biden Says Women Need His Help to Succeed in America,” by Jim Treacher in PJ Media calls the readers’ attention to Biden’s Tweet @JoeBiden: “The hard truth is women – and particularly women of color – have never had a fair shot to get ahead in this country.  That’s why today, “I’m releasing my plan to make sure women can fully participate in our economy and country.”

Biden seemingly believes that every issue is strictly a women’s issue – health care, the economy, education, national security – and that women are uniquely and disproportionately impacted by many policies.  That is an insult to men, especially family men, who have equal concern for these issues.

“It’s insulting to suggest that women need powerful men to open figurative doors for them,” tweeted Virginia Kruta @VAKruta, “we’ve been kicking them down on our own for centuries.  I have spent the last 41 years busting my ass, and while I’ve certainly seen my share of failures, I’ve also earned my share of successes.”

Biden has wrapped up his plan to control the thoughts and lives of women in a 23-page, single-spaced document, “The Biden Agenda for Women,” all women should read.  It’s a pandering document if I ever read one, not just to hold the hands of women, but “women – particularly women of color,” one line into the opening paragraph.

“Women want to be self-sufficient and free of government interference by meddling, cynical politicos,” Treacher believes, as I do. “They scoff at the idea that in order to ‘fully participate’ in American life, they need to rely on a doddering old man who’s spent most of his adult life as a Washington parasite.”

WOMEN FOR TRUMP (complex)

WOMEN FOR TRUMP, a campaign organization of women supporting President Trump’s reelection, say “there are millions of women who support Donald Trump and we ‘re not standing in the shadows anymore!  We won’t be pushed around by bullies who tell us who we are supposed to like.  And we’re not going to keep quiet.”

They like the way “he thinks outside the box and tells it like it is … he’s genuine and think that’s a breath of fresh air; the way he takes action, and gets things done in the real world; knowing he will keep families safe from outside threats and illegal immigration; and the way he’s shaking up the status quo in Washington and putting our country ahead of partisan politics.”

PROMISES KEPT – Women who may be unsure of President Trump’s achievements on their behalf, on behalf of everyone, I recommend that you visit www.promiseskept.com  Because he doesn’t believe in identity politics, you will find his accomplishments for men, women, and minorities throughout the site where they are listed under a number of major topic headings, to simplify your search.

HERE’S AN INTERESTING PERSPECTIVE on the choice between Biden and Trump from an anonymous piece forwarded to me by a friend and subscriber.  While space will not allow me to print the entire essay.  It’s aimed at Christians who are still unsure of Trump’s character.

The author reminds us of Mitt Romney, Bob Dole, John McCain, Gerald Ford and Paul Ryan.  “Did any of them win?  Did they lead the GOP to ‘the promised land? Did they change the direction of America?  Paul Ryan couldn’t even deliver his own state, Wisconsin!

“No one is saying Trump is perfect.  No one is saying Trump is a perfect conservative.  But he is a patriot.  He is a warrior.  He is a capitalist.  He is the right man, and the right time.

“Yes, he’s a bit rude and crude and offensive.  But that may make him the perfect warrior to save America, American exceptionalism, capitalism and Judeo-Christian values.

“If we don’t win this election, America is dead.  It’s over.  The greatest nation in world history will be gone.  Finished.  Kaput.  Adios.”

May God continue to bless the United States of America.
