The time for cowering is past … get over it … get on with it … expect the left to continue attack on virus … forget law enforcement … another leftist professor … and the Harris pick different in another way

“THE TIME FOR COWERING IS PAST, get over it, get on with it.  Your country needs you.”  Sound familiar?

In my last posting, I took on the merchants of doom and gloom, saying, “Enough already with the doom and gloom.”

The opening quote above was the concluding sentence in “Americans Need to Face Down a Politicized Panic,” a piece by Michael Walsh in The Epoch Times, in which he writes of the “Covid scam of 2020.”

He wrote of the untruths, baseless assertions, and often outright lies about the coronavirus and its effects. “Panicked … the American people assented to being put essentially under house arrest until further notice, effectively suspending the habits, preferences, and liberties that had defined our way of life.”

“What makes this bug unusual,” Walsh writes, “is the deracinated and draconian overreaction, a power grab by governments at all levels, both here and abroad.”

He writes of our freedoms, one by one, coming under attack, including freedom of speech (cancel culture), the free exercise of religion, freedom of assembly and the right to be secure in our persons.

“That a nation and a civilization once renowned for its courage under fire, valor, and its stone bravery should now cower like frightened children in the face of an invisible monster is a national disgrace.  That the patriots among us should willingly submit to a constitutional death of a thousand cuts administered by petty bureaucrats and power-mad doctors from a corrupt and untrustworthy agency is even worse.  That the provocation comes from China adds insult to injury.

“And that it’s being wielded like a political cudgel against the current administration in order to negate the president’s record of regulatory reform, border control, a more equitable job market for minorities, and a booming economy that was the envy of the world until this spring is something voters should not forget this November,” Walsh stated before concluding with “The time for cowering is past. Get over it, get on with it.  Your country needs you.”

YOU CAN EXPECT the Biden-Harris campaign to continue to politicize the pandemic, blaming the president for the blow to our robust economy and booming employment resulting from it. Biden’s lies during his Wednesday introduction of Harris was disgraceful. The partisan tactics of Democrat lawmakers and their compliant media to delay business openings and the return of students to school are designed to continue to Election Day in an effort to harm the president’s reelection.

DON’T EXPECT the Biden-Harris campaign to suddenly become concerned about the rioting in those Democrat-controlled cities and states.  To them, they are merely peaceful protests by people concerned with over jealous policing, ignoring those local calls for defunding the police.

Meanwhile, President Trump is the law and order president who has the support of the nation’s law enforcement organizations. He will continue to work for public safety measures.

ANOTHER LEFTIST PROFESSOR has been identified by the publication Campus Reform.  He’s Adam Kotsko, a professor who teaches the history of philosophy and religion at North Central College in Illinois.

The Constitution is racist,” tweeted Kotsko @adamkotsko, “This is not to say that every aspect of the Constitution was motivated by racism or that aspects of it could not operate in non-racist ways in a non-racist system. But the design and effect of the Constitution, in all its iterations, has been racist.”

As if that wasn’t enough.  Two days later he tweeted this incredible statement:

“White American cultural common sense is giving the police the benefit of the doubt when they kill black people, because otherwise they might not kill enough black people.

Further evidence of the shameful radicalization of our colleges and universities.

THE POLITICAL PUNDITS will tell you that the selection of a vice presidential running mate really doesn’t mean that much.  Normally, that would be true.

However, Joe Biden, already considered more of a figurehead, has exhibited dementia-like occurrences on a number of occasions that have generated talk that VP his selection will face much tighter scrutiny.

May God continue to bless the United States of America.
