‘NOT SO FAST, KAMALA HARRIS,’ was the lead into Yaron Steinbach’s piece in the New York Post, in which he reported on how the Democrat vice presidential candidate “got a bit ahead of herself when she referred to the ‘Harris administration,’ while discussing economic plans during a virtual roundtable.”
“A Harris administration, together with Joe Biden as the president of the United States,” she said before correcting her apparent Freudian slip.
Obviously, she, too, understands the general American sentiment that Biden would merely be a placeholder. “For a while now,” wrote Stephen Kruiser in PJ Media, “I’ve been convinced that the Democrats don’t have any real plans for him beyond January 21, 2021.”
President Trump recently referred to Biden as a “Trojan Horse for socialism,” noting that Harris has one of the most liberal voting records in the Senate.
THE ATLANTIC magazine, stung by its recent attack using a number of anonymous sources to falsely accuse President Trump of defaming U.S. military servicemen, is back in print with another article designed to further damage the president’s chances of reelection in the minds of voters.
A scare scenario put forth by contributing writer Shadi Hamid portends to see a Trump victory undermining faith in democracy resulting in more social unrest as seen in Portland and Seattle.
“I struggle to imagine how, beyond utter shock, millions of Democrats will process a Trump victory,” writes Hamid, who fails to recall their “utter shock” in 2016 when their sure candidate, Hillary Clinton, was defeated.
“If Democrats can’t beat a candidate as unpopular as Trump during a devastating pandemic and massive economic contraction, then are they even capable of winning presidential elections anymore?” he says.
I found it humorous that with all of the talk about Trump not accepting defeat and refusing to leave the Oval Office, Hamid writes that he finds himself “worried about one scenario: that Trump will win reelection and Democrats and others on the left will be unwilling, even unable, to accept the result. Again, stressing his scare tactic, he foresees implications for mass unrest and political violence with a Trump victory.
On the other hand, should Biden win with a significant margin, Hamid believes Republicans “will distance themselves from a futile delegitimization campaign waged by a sore loser,” seemingly conceding that the Democrat’s four-year attempt to delegitimize Trump was a failure.
Of course, a landslide win for Trump is the answer
HAVE YOU HEARD that as many as 1,000 people are suspected of voting twice in Georgia’s primary election? Of the 1,000 who voted twice, 58 percent requested Democrat ballots.
“A double voter knows exactly what they’re doing,” said Secretary of State Brad, Raffensperger “diluting the votes of each and every voter that follows the law.” Voting twice in Georgia is a felony of one to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $100,000. It has been the Democrats who have been pushing for universal mail-in voting with the faux excuse that voting in person will promote the spread of the virus.
In addition, about 150 Georgia residents who requested absentee ballots appeared in person at the polls because they either never received their absentee ballot or changed their minds and opted to vote in person. Smart decision.
“If you go to vote in person, wear a mask, observe the physical distancing and avoid crowded situations, there’s no reason why they shouldn’t be able to do that,” advised Dr. Anthony Fauci.
JOE BIDEN emerged from his basement and left the Wilmington, Delaware surrounds to woo Latino voters in Florida Tuesday where President Trump’s stock is up. Biden no doubt saw the reception Trump garnered in the Latinos for Trump roundtable discussion in Phoenix Monday.
You know the left is concerned about Florida when Mike Bloomberg is persuaded to donate $100 million to the Dem’s buy-a-vote campaign.
THE LOWER DRUG PRICES the president has been referring to will soon become reality as he signed an executive order on Sunday. By invoking the “Most Favored Nation” clause, we will get the same price Big Pharma has been given other countries.
BLACK ICON Thomas Sowell tweeted this insightful statement @ThomasSowell: “Activism is a way for useless people to feel important, even if the consequences of their activism are counterproductive for those they claim to be helping and damaging to the fabric of society as a whole.”
AFTER HILLARY CLINTON tweeted this @Hillary Clinton: “We deserve a president who cares whether his fellow Americans live or die,” Essential Fleccas retorted pointedly with “Aren’t you the Benghazi lady?” @fleccas.
May God continue to bless the United States of America.
