The ‘rigged’ debate that was … moderator suspended … NY Post story reveals Biden lied … social media pollster says race a dead heat … the Durham report … keeping the faith … and something to ponder

THE PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE THAT WAS – You will remember that C-Span’s Steve Scully, who was supposed to moderate the second presidential debate, claimed that his Twitter account had been hacked when an exchange with Trump antagonist Anthony Scaramucci was uncovered.  His former work for Biden as an intern also surfaced at the time.

It was announced Thursday that C-Span has suspended Scully indefinitely.  It’s another black-eye for the media and the partisan Commission for Presidential Debates.  It followed the left-leaning performances of Chris Wallace, its choice to moderate the first presidential debate, and Susan Page, in the vice presidential debate.

I recall how then CNN commentator Donna Brazile leaked debate questions to Hillary Clinton.  This year, Fox News Channel rewarded her with a position as a contributor, giving her time to promote Biden-Harris.

How disgusting. It’s getting easier to understand why the president calls the media the enemy of the people.

DUELING TOWNHALLS – Thursday night, ABC News carried a townhall with Joe Biden, while NBC News did likewise with President Trump on the evening the second debate was originally scheduled.  I simply couldn’t bring myself to watch.

THE NEW YORK POST has exposed e-mails discovered that appear to provide evidence that Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden lied about his knowledge of his son Hunter’s business relationship with the Ukraine firm Burisma.

Some members of the media and Republicans have justifiably used the phrase “if true” when commenting on the revelation, even though many have found it hard to believe that the nominee has repeatedly stated that he was oblivious to that relationship.

I have written in opposition when the media has rushed to judgement on a story as if it is true, followed by the caveat “if true.”  We all know that that many have already viewed the story as “true.”   I understand that someone in the Biden camp has already attempted to discredit the Post story, indicating that his calendar shows no record of a 2015 meeting, said to have taken place between a senior member of Burisma and Joe Biden.

If there was any doubt that Twitter and Facebook were running protection for the Biden-Harris campaign, it became evident when social media users were blocked from linking others to the New York Post article, with Twitter referring to it as “potentially harmful.”  Yes, to Biden, “if true.”

SGT. BIDEN – “I KNOW NUSSING.’ (pixgood.com)

They cannot discredit the video-taped quote of then vice president Joe Biden threatening to withhold $1 billion in aid unless the Ukrainian government fired its top prosecutor, who was investigating Burisma for alleged corruption.

While I have commented on Peter Schweizer’s book about the Biden family’s abuse of power in the past, Kramerontheright will not be commenting on the Post’s findings until the aforementioned e-mails are deemed authentic.  That is not to say I support the social media censorship now taking place at Twitter.

IN VIEW OF SOCIAL MEDIA CENSORSHIP, I found an article in Fortune by Jerry Kahn, about a firm, Expert.ai, quite topical. The company has undertaken a poll it refers to as “sentiment analysis” to understand the emotions being expressed in the social media.  With the censorship at Twitter and Facebook in mind, one has to view their poll results with a grain of salt.

Viewing some 500,000 posts, Expert.ai learned that Trump was the focus of 60 percent of all posts, compared to the 17 percent for Biden.  The positive emotions of “success” and “hope” were expressed for Biden, while the only positive emotion for Trump was “action.”  “Fear” and “hatred” were negative emotions for Trump.

The firm found that despite the overwhelming anti-Trump messaging on social media, the race between Biden and Trump is a near dead heat with Biden leading Trump by the slim margin of 50.2 to 47.3 percent.

ANOTHER REASON TO VOTE TRUMP – Many of us were disappointed to learn that the findings of U.S. Attorney John Durham would not be released prior to Election Day.  President Trump called it a “disgrace” and “an embarrassment.”

The danger for the country is that if no one answers for the abuses within the Deep State, future bad actors will assume they can also manipulate law enforcement and a complicit media and get away with it.

To make sure those behind the partisan dirty tricks are held accountable, we need to keep the faith in Attorney General Bill Barr and Durham, and we need to make sure President Trump is reelected.

The editorial board of the Wall Street Journal recently chided the president for his “misguided swipe” at Barr over the Durham delays.  They’re right.  “Barr has endured relentless and unfair criticism from the partisan Washington press corps that helped to promote Russian disinformation,” they wrote.  And if the opposition is going after Barr, you just know he’s getting close to uncovering those behind the coup.

The Journal seems to forget that the president comes from the business world, where leaders expect results, and when they take too long, they get frustrated.

Between now and November 3, 2020, the president needs to focus on his efforts to counter the virus and convince voters that the economy he helped create prior to the pandemic, will recover even bigger than before.

With his victory, will come that long-awaited accountability of the scoundrels of the Deep State.  Believe it.

TRUMP HATRED TO THE END – On the last day of the nomination hearing for Amy Coney Barrett, Illinois’ Democrat Sen. Dick Durbin felt the need to reflect on the fact that “an orange cloud” hung over her nomination.

SOMETHINK TO PONDER – Those who have already voted for Joe Biden, the man of the people who wants to return America’s soul, are now learning …  that he lied about knowing the relationship his son Hunter had with the Ukrainian firm Burisma … and that C-Span’s Steve Scully, a former Biden employee scheduled to moderate the second debate, has been suspended indefinitely for lying about his Twitter account being hacked.  Still want to vote early, by mail?

May God continue to bless the United States of America.
