Voting for president … where are your priorities? … Trump takes Biden’s advice … proves Biden lies … the arrogant Obama … what’s important to the Wash Post? … USA Today seals leftist creds .. and the media ignores Biden corruption story

WHERE ARE THEIR PRIORITIES? – Name one president of the United States who governed successfully simply because he was decent and had integrity.  You can’t.  Even Thomas Jefferson was criticized for his vulgarity.

Women voters, we are told, oppose President Trump just because of his character and behavior, latching on to the relentless remarks of the leftist media. No matter that Biden called Trump a clown.

“There are a lot of people who vote for the person more than anything else,” the failed Democrat presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg claimed while campaigning for Biden. “I’m ready for a person who will restore competence and decency and integrity to the Oval Office,”

Now they’ve added “competence.”  Really, Pete.  No president has ever delivered on promises, and accomplished more in his first term than President Trump.  And all while he was relentlessly attacked by the Deep State and its media.

‘He’s not presidential,’ it is said.  “Qualities that are considered “befitting the office of the presidency” may vary from person to person, and from era to era,” Merriman-Webster states.  What one person considers to be presidential, another may feel is best described through the use of another adjective.”

In a letter describing a presidential candidate who some felt was not terribly presidentialAndrew Jackson – Daniel Webster wrote, “General Jackson’s  manners are more presidential than those of any of the candidates.  He is grave, mild and reserved,” adding, “My wife is for him decidedly.”

“Donald Trump may be arrogant and boastful, a sinner like the rest of us, but I’m not voting for personality or character,” wrote Lois Nienhuis of West Olive, Michigan in a letter to the editor. “I’m voting for Donald Trump because he’s working hard to protect life and liberty “under God” as when America first began.”

You may recall my recent quote from a young black voter, who likes Trump’s “strong demeanor and deference to the establishment.”

To borrow and slightly change a phrase from Joe Biden, ‘C’mon, women,’ are you really going to base your vote against Trump because of his character, rather than his performance?

A SUBURBAN MOM’S VIEW of the 2020 election was reviewed in Townhall.com by Kimberly Fletcher, a suburban woman.

Noting that they used to be soccer moms and hockey moms, Fletcher said that pundits and the media are now “salivating over the new coveted voter base – suburban women.”  “Ironically,” she added, “I have yet to see one media outlet asking a single suburban woman what she thinks.”

“The fact is,” Fletcher said, “you don’t need the suburban women vote, you need the mom vote because that’s largely who suburban women are; and all moms care about the same three things.  We want the children to be safe and, we want them to get a good education, and we want them to have opportunities to succeed.

“Moms want order restored, unity returned and the violence to stop,” as she explained that they want their homes, businesses and neighborhoods safe, lawlessness stopped and the end of the vilifying of police officers sworn to protect them.

While Biden talks a good game … giving moms something to hope for, believe in and fight for… free this and free that, Fletcher believes Republicans should keep sharing the inspiring speeches women gave at the Republican convention.  She was high on Trump’s speech at the March for Life, where he described women as heroes.

Will the moms recall how the president told Biden that he was “all talk and no action” in the second debate?  If the moms were honest with themselves, they must admit that they are better off than they were four years ago.

“PUT THE TAPE ON YOUR WEBSITE,” said a defiant Joe Biden when confronted with his campaign promises to end fracking during the second debate.  Biden vehemently denied any statement of the kind, but foolishly revealed that he would transform the country away from fossil fuels.

President Trump did it one better and showed a montage of his statements on huge screens at his Saturday rallies in Florida, North Carolina, Ohio and Wisconsin.

There was Biden in New Hampshire, walking over to respond to Rebecca Beaulieu’s question, “How can we trust that you’re going to act on the climate crisis, if you are still attending fundraisers that fossil fuel executives are attending?”

Biden took her hand, and said, “Kiddo, I want you to just look into my eyes.  I guarantee you, I guarantee you, we are going to end fossil fuel, and I am going to cooperate with them.  Before 2050, God willing.”

Beaulieu later said that she thought “being called a kid was a little patronizing (she’s 24),” and was unsatisfied with Biden’s refusal to bend on his 2050 goal, which she claimed was too late.

THE ARROGANCE of Barack Hussein Obama surfaced again during another of the Biden-Harris car drive-in rally campaign speeches.

He repeated his insult of President Trump from earlier appearances. Noting that he never thought that Donald Trump would embrace his vision or continue his policies, “I did hope for the sake of the country he might show some interest in take the job seriously,” claiming that the president “is incapable of taking the job seriously.”  He added that the president “hasn’t shown any interest in doing the work.”  Is that the “decency” Biden is looking for?

Obama and Biden simply cannot concede that President Trump, who reportedly works 16-18 hours a day, has eclipsed the work of the eight years of Obama-Biden in just four years.

DEATH OF JOURNALISM PRONOUNCED – The Washington Post’s front page this week carried the story, “Diner-in-Chief: How the Bidens might eat and entertain in and out of the White House.”  How’s that for news reporting?

“The Bidens could bring “positive energy” to the D.C. dining scene if they take the White House,” said one restauranteur.

When eating in, Jill “prioritizes a nicely set table, and that requires candles,” read the breathless reporting.

One bit of reporting changed my opinion of Jill.  “When Jill splurges, she likes martinis and French fries.”

USA TODAY SEALS LEFTIST CREDS – The daily tool of the Democrat Party – USA Today – not surprisingly endorsed Joe Biden for president, but in doing so, the paper revealed its ignorance of the news.

In an embarrassing example of its out-of-touch reporting, the paper used Ronald Reagan’s 1980 quote, “Is America better off now than it was four years ago,” in an attempt to discredit President Trump’s record.  Totally unaware that Gallup poll’s recent finding that the majority of Americans today, in fact, believe they are better off than they were four years ago when Obama-Biden left office.

The Washington DC-centric paper has long exhibited its disdain for Trump’s desire to shake things up in the nation’s capital, where the Swamp people dwell.  While the paper didn’t endorse Hillary Clinton in 2016, it urged its readers not to vote for Trump

THE LEFTIST MEDIA NOT REPORTING details of Joe Biden’s involvement in his son Hunter’s business dealings with Ukraine, Russia and China.  All three networks – ABC, CBS and NBC – devoted a total of 15 minutes on the breaking news.

AND THEN THERE’S THIS FROM NPR:

May God continue to bless the United States of America.
