ACCOUNTABILITY – Nancy Pelosi and others on the left continue to press for accountability from President Trump on the breach of the Capitol building on January 6, 2021, and have delivered the article of impeachment to the Senate, where a revenge trial is soon to be held though generally considered unconstitutional. Their aim is to prevent Trump from future election.
MEANWHILE, we’re still waiting for accountability of the Obama-Biden Deep Staters – Comey, McCabe, Yates, Strzok, Page (Lisa), Brennan, Clapper and Rice – who were tasked in that infamous January 5, 2017 Oval Office meeting to allege that Donald Trump was involved in a treasonous plot to collude with Russia.
Our patience with the investigation of U. S. Attorney John Durham has effectively expired. With the recent pass given former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith, who admitted to falsifying evidence submitted to the FISA court for a warrant to spy on one-time Trump foreign policy advisor Carter Page, Federal Judge James Boasberg has sent a message that FBI agents who deceive the Court can get off with a slap on the wrist if caught.
THERE WAS NO ACCOUNTABLITY in the 2002 kidnapping and murder of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl last week either, leaving his family in complete shock. Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh was acquitted by a panel of three judges in Pakistan.
Need I remind you that Congress last month approved a $25 million aid package to Pakistan to “strengthen democracy and promote women’s rights?”
THEN THERE’S THE LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY exhibited by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo last Friday after it was determined that games were played with the numbers of individuals who died of Covid19 in New York nursing homes due to his malfeasance.
“Who cares … 33 (percent), 29 (percent) died in the hospital, died in a nursing home,” Cuomo said, “they died.”
His callous comment reminded me of Hillary Clinton’s January 2013 appearance on Benghazi before the Senate when she said, “The fact is we had four dead Americans. What’s difference … at this point … what difference does it make.”
THE WASHINGTON SWAMP – The name Melissa Hodgman may not be known to you, but she was recently named by Biden’s acting Securities and Exchange Commission chair Allison Herren Lee to lead the agency as its acting director of the Division of Enforcement.
A longtime bureaucrat, Hodgman has been with the SEC since 2008, but is better known in Washington as the wife of disgraced FBI agent Peter Strzok, who conspired with FBI colleague-turned-mistress, Lisa Page, in an attempt to oust President Trump from the presidency.
Neither Strzok or Page have been held accountable.
ANOTHER INVESTIGATION GOING NOWHERE – Several Republicans are seeking information from the University of Pennsylvania regarding $72 million in contributions to the Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement from Chinese sources.
What makes this interesting is Antony Blinken, recently confirmed as Biden’s secretary of state, served as the Biden Center’s managing director. Hmmmm
That investigation will no doubt be stonewalled and eventually filed along with the Clinton Foundation investigation that went nowhere.
