By Now, You Should Recognize the Name Jake Sullivan

Commentary

It shouldn’t surprise you that President Biden’s national security advisor, Jake Sullivan, is coming under increased scrutiny in Special Counsel John Durham’s investigation into the origins of the Russian collusion tale.

Sullivan is reportedly the “foreign policy director” referred to in the indictment of Michael Sussmann, Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign manager, determined through e-mail distributions.

In my previous commentaries, I called for Sullivan to be fired, having reminded you of Sullivan’s ties to Hillary Clinton’s handling of the Benghazi attack, her e-mail scandal involving sensitive material and, most recently, his poor judgement in advising Biden on the Afghanistan withdrawal.

On October 8, 2021, I included Sullivan on my enemies list.

Although he hasn’t been specifically called a target of the investigation, there is now a focus on him because of his family ties to the Biden administration.

IN THE END, I HOPE WE CAN AT LEAST WIPE THE SMIRK FROM HER FACE.

FROM OUT OF THE SWAMP – Get this … Sullivan’s wife, Maggie Goodlander, clerked for Attorney General Merrick Garland when he was a D.C. Circuit Judge and is now counsel to Garland at DOJ.  His brother, Tom Sullivan, serves as deputy chief of staff for policy at the State Department.  There’s more … Tom’s wife, Rose Sullivan, holds a top position as the action assistant secretary for legislation in the Department of Health and Human Services.

Garland has said he wouldn’t interfere with the Durham investigation, but the Accountability Foundation and Judicial Watch are concerned over the ethics of it all. One has to wonder … can Sullivan survive scrutiny with his wife at Garland’s side.

“Durham clearly seems to be making a meticulous case that the Steele dossier was a political hit job orchestrated by Clinton operatives,” writes Jonathan Turley in The Hill. “His latest indictment connects Danchenko to several intriguing  figures and groups that, in turn, relate to the Clinton campaign.”

The trial for the indicted Russian Virginia resident, Igor Danchenko, who pleaded not guilty on Wednesday, is scheduled for April 2022.  The wheels of justice grind slowly.

Now, more than ever … may God continue to bless the United States of America.
