With trust in the media at its lowest point in decades, the corrupt mainstream media are attempting to hide the latest filing of Special Counsel John Durham, in which he links spying by Hillary Clinton’s campaign that included contract technical assistance infiltration of not only Trump Tower, but the White House.
So, it’s happening again. The media is complicit in preventing the public from knowing about the left’s political corruption.
It was just two months ago that a Rasmussen Reports survey revealed that 52 percent of likely voters think news organizations ignored the Hunter Biden story until after the election to help Joe Biden’s campaign.
The media knows no shame. Gallup and the Knight Foundation found that 84 percent of Americans believe the media bears the blame for the divide in this country.
The media watchdog, Media Research Center, found that 36 percent of Democrats knew nothing about the Hunter Biden story, and roughly 17 percent of Biden voters said they would not have voted for him had they known the story.
After the New York Post broke the Hunter Biden story, CNN referred to it as “the dubious Hunter Biden story.” The Washington Post called it a “non-scandal,” it was called “Russian disinformation” by Politico, and during a CBS 60 Minutes interview with Donald Trump, Lesley Stahl repeatedly said the story “can’t be verified.”
The late Mike Wallace, who gave 60 Minutes a reputation as an investigative behemoth that stoked fear in the minds of anyone he set out to interview, would have been embarrassed with his old network and Stahl. It’s hard to believe that Wallace would have ignored the seriousness of the Durham findings.
Only the Fox News Channel carried the Durham story in the first 48 hours, causing MSNBC’s Morning Joe Scarborough, more than 72 hours later, to quote network reporter John Heilermann‘s attack on Fox that its coverage was “willfully stupid,” and accused Fox of “deliberately lying.”
“It is so confounding and so hard to follow,” said Scarborough. “This pleading, which is indecipherable unless you have an agenda and you want to shoot first and ask questions later, which is what they did legally,” suggesting it was “like, what, everybody did it,” and “nobody paid attention to it because it was so convoluted.”
Scarborough’s claim that the findings of Durham “have been largely debunked by the New York Times and NBC News is absolutely nonsense,” is laughable. This, from the man who bought into and supported the Russian collusion story for four years; that was in fact debunked. I’m still waiting for his mea culpa.
So, it begins. With it not looking good for the Democrats in the midterms, the leftist media, including those social media outlets, will do its best to hide the Durham findings and ongoing charges as was done with Hunter Biden and the corrupt Biden family during the 2020 election.
I found Durham’s finding that Clinton lawyer Michael Sussmann hired a technical expert, Tech Executive-1, to exploit access to Trump Tower and White House computer systems astounding, chilling. With the assistance of researchers at “a U.S.-based university” Durham’s report states that they mined internet data to gain an “inference” to fit the Russian collusion narrative. This data was funneled to federal agencies, presumably the FBI and CIA.
A spokesman for Rodney Joffe, aka Tech Executive-1, claims Joffe is an apolitical Internet security expert with decades of service to the U.S. Government, who has never worked for a political party. He cited national security concerns and Russian attempts to infiltrate the 2016 election as the reason he was hired. Did Sussmann inform Joffe that he represented the Clinton campaign?
We presume that communications in the White House are as secure as possible. The thought that presidential campaign opponents could gain access, and feed information to the FBI and CIA is staggering. And the left accuses Republicans of destroying our democracy.
This smacks of a continuation of the deep state effort conducted within the FBI, CIA, and NSA by the corrupt Comey, Yates, McCabe, Brennan and Clapper.
So far, Hillary Clinton has said only that it is a “fake scandal ginned-up by Fox and Trump.” She hasn’t responded how she came to tweet @HilleryClinton: “Computer scientists have apparently uncovered a covert server linking the Trump Organization to a Russian-based bank in late October before the 2016 election.”
In a later tweet, she said it was “time for Trump to answer serious questions about his ties to Russia.”
Her reference to the “computer scientists” and the “Russian-based bank” reveal her knowledge of the work Sussmann was doing on her behalf.
Her senior policy advisor Jake Sullivan, who now serves as President Biden’s National Security Advisor, added, “this could be the most direct link yet between Donald Trump and Moscow.”
The billing records of Sussmann reflect that he repeatedly billed her campaign for this work, including researching the Russian bank allegations. This goes beyond traditional political opposition research. To refer to it as “dirty tricks,” is ludicrous.
I don’t expect this will lead to serious charges against Clinton. She has escaped punishment for other serious matters, including the murder of four Americans in Benghazi and, of course, her e-mail scandal, and about the Clinton Foundation funds.
The American people have a right to know what she knew and when she knew it.
It’s time for accountability, but it won’t come easily. We can help by assuring we retake the House and Senate this fall.
Now, more than ever … may God continue to bless the United States of America.
