“I think it’s really important for people to understand the brilliance with which President Biden is conducting this (Ukraine). This is a man (who) served decades as chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee. He knows the arena. He knows the personalities.” – Nancy Pelosi
Today, as I tuned in to the streaming from the sold-out Conservative Political Action Convention (CPAC) from Orlando, I saw thousands of people of all ages from across the country, willing to pay $295 for general admission and $7,000 for premium tickets to hear the conservative message. I wonder how many of you can be depended upon to help take back America in your own way.
The “A” in CPAC stands for “Action,” and you are needed in the effort to make America great again, again.
I hope you are among the political junkies who, like me, are thoroughly disgusted with the ruinous path Democrats and the Biden administration would have us follow, and have the same strong interest those CPAC attendees are exhibiting.
With the midterm elections less than nine months away, it is imperative that you demonstrate your outrage in the damage the left is doing to our economy as inflation looms with costs for food and gasoline mount.
Consider what they have done by opening our southern border, as illegals are mysteriously sent to cities across the country, not to mention the drug and sex trafficking that has resulted. And, consider those mandates, and Biden’s inability to keep his promise on stopping Covid, and too, his lack of interest in law enforcement.
Today, we are witnessing Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, and many of us wonder if he saw the foreign policy weakness of President Biden, with his handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal, his cave-in on the Nord Stream pipeline, and his foolish, time-consuming obsession with climate change.
“I hope that President Putin will help us stay on track with respect to what we need to do for the climate.” – John Kerry, Idiot Democrat
“You just know that Biden is in trouble, when CNN … yes, CNN …reports that just 36 percent of Americans approve of Biden’s handling of the situation with Russia in the latest Gallup poll, and CNN’s Chris Cillizza agrees. “Regardless of the reasons,” he wrote, “Biden finds himself in a fraught political position at home as Russian President Vladimir Putin pushes forces into Ukraine. On the foreign policy front, Biden is still reeling from the disastrous pullout of American troops from Afghanistan last summer. Joe Biden doesn’t have a strong political hand to play on Russia.”
Look at this Grassroots Effort
FOR WEEKS NOW, around the late afternoon commute time on Fridays, I have noticed a small group of political enthusiasts at a busy North Scottsdale, Arizona intersection waving flags and holding hand-made posters.
Impressed with their patriotism, evidenced by their making time each week to gather, I stopped to speak with them and found them to be common folks practicing free speech. “We’re constitutionalists,” said a gentleman, who is joined on the corner by his wife. He wore one of the Betsy Ross T-shirts promoted by the late Rush Limbaugh.
There were flags … a young man held one of those thin blue line flags in support of the police, another had a flag supporting Kari Lake for governor. There was a “Don’t Tread on Me” flag, a “Let’s Go Brandon” flag, and, of course, two American flags.
Posters vary from week to week, depending on issues in the news, but on the day I stopped, one read, “Back the Peace Convoy,” and another simply read, “USA – Constitutional Republic.
Horns honk from passing cars in support of their effort, though small. The group hopes other will join them. I wish them well, and hope to see more patriots join them. I wish them well.
Now, more than ever … may God continue to bless the United States of America.
