If you are a regular reader of this blog, you know that on May 30, I revealed my choice of Ohio Governor John Kasich for president.

In the latest Fox 2016 GOP Power Index, Kasich moved up two points to 8th place, behind Bush, Walker, Rubio, Cruz, Carson, Fiorina and Trump. If he can continue to improve his position he will be assured of a spot in the Aug. 6, Fox debate to be held in his home state of Ohio.

It was nice to see Carly Fiorina climbing two points, too. See her ably debate Emily’s List spokesperson Jess McIntosh here. I would pay to see a debate between Fiorina and Clinton on economics.
