Gallego gets vulgar … CNN anchor in denial … Hillary seems to support incivility … Dems responsible for damage to institutions … Dem loser in Michigan attacks GOP senate candidate … a hero goes weak-kneed … more PC … and the liberal Warren

Here are my observations and opinions on selected news of the day.

MISSED DURING THE KAVANAUGH CIRCUS – At a gathering billed as a unity event for the Maricopa County Democrat Party, Arizona Democrat Rep. Ruben Gallego told the audience – “Guys, guys, and ladies, we are less than 60 days from totally “kicking the sh*t out of the Republicans.”

“So every day we are out there, we have to fight. We have to fight ‘cause Republicans are cowards and they’re gonna continue to be cowards. We have to fight because it’s only us that will fight for everyday Americans,” he said.

Like taking away their tax cuts, Congressman?

AND FELLOW DEMOCRATS Maxine Waters and Cory Booker are advocating in-your-face incivility.

A MOB IS A MOB – The news clip I saw of CNN’s Brooke Baldwin arguing with Daily Beast reporter Matt Lewis when he used the word “mob” to describe the Dem radical protestors was hilarious.

“Oh, you’re not going to use the mob word here,” Baldwin interjected. To which he responded, “Oh, it’s totally a mob. It is without a doubt.”

“Matt. Matt. Matt,” Baldwin shouted, “stop, stop.” And when Lewis reminded her of the videos of protestors banging on the doors of the Supreme Court, Baldwin rolled her eyes and cupped her face with her hands in frustration.

“AFTER FAILING to stop (the) Kavanaugh confirmation, Democrats wonder if it’s time to be more ruthless,” wrote Politico @politico.

AND TO THAT, Jon Gabriel wrote, “They already tried to assassinate Republicans on a baseball field” @exjon.

HILLARY STANDS WITH THE RADICAL DISRUPTERS – “You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about,” the Dem loser told CNN’s Christine Amanpour, adding that if they win back the House and or Senate, “that’s when civility can start again.”

Of course, Amanpour didn’t press Clinton to give her examples of what the current administration is destroying; things she and her kind stand for. Would that be a stagnant economy with high unemployment and high taxes? Job-killing regulations? The Obama lead-from-behind foreign policy? Or perhaps open borders?

Hillary Clinton is a pathetic has-been who just doesn’t know when to go away.

YOU’VE HEARD DEMOCRATS like Hillary say that America’s democratic institutions are under siege. Of course, the Electoral College, that gave Donald Trump the presidency, is foremost in their minds

It was the Democrat Party members of the Senate Judiciary Committee, however, that demonstrated a disregard for the institution when the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh favored the opposition. Within minutes of his nomination, Dem leader Sen. Chuck Schumer issued orders to obstruct.

Democrats ignore our founding documents, and chose to avoid questions regarding the Constitution in favor of off-the-wall questions concerning Kavanaugh’s high school and college habits. Do you recall a single question about one of his 300 decisions on the DC court?

As leftist protestors disrupted the hearings, Democrat Sen. Dick Durbin embarrassingly said, “What we’ve heard is the sound of democracy.”    No, Senator, with your approval you were allowing them to destroy the judicial institution process.

When the FBI was ordered to interview additional individuals, it was another Democrat, Sen. Maize Hirono, who rejected the tenets of due process.

Following the vote, the mob rule that began when activists accosted Senators in the halls and elevators, continued in restaurants where members were eating, in front of their homes and at the doors of the Supreme Court.

“Not getting your way isn’t a constitutional crisis,” write David Harsanyi in The Federalist. “When they act like it is, liberals are destabilizing the institutions they are claiming to save (from Republicans).

HE LOST THE DEMOCRAT PRIMARY for governor in Michigan, and now he has decided to attack John James, the Republican candidate for Senate, who is challenging the liberal Democrat incumbent Debbie Stabenow in Michigan.

I am referring to Abdul El-Sayed, who boasted that he would be the first Muslim governor of Michigan, after receiving endorsements from socialists Bernie Sanders, Alexandra Casio-Cortez and activist Linda Sansour. Once called the next Barack Obama, El-Sayed only managed to capture 30 percent of the Dem vote in the primary fight for Governor.

President Trump is reportedly planning a rally of support in Michigan for James, who currently trails Stabenow by double digits. A West Point graduate and an Iraq veteran with two Master’s degrees, James has an impressive military and business record.

MORE RIDICULOUS POLITICAL CORRECTNESS gone amok. Did you hear how retired Navy captain and former astronaut Scott Kelly, of all people, went weak-kneed and apologized for quoting Winston Churchill?

“One of the greatest leaders of modern times, Winston Churchill, said, ‘In victory, magnanimity.’ I guess those days are over.”

Historical revisionists jumped all over his statement, recalling Churchill’s colonialist views, and Kelly caved. “Did not mean to offend by quoting Churchill. My apologies. I will go and educate myself further on his atrocities and racist views which I do not support.”

How sad to see a man of his stature fold to leftist pressure.

THERE’S MORE PC being experienced at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, where the board of trustees caved and announced that it would rename Robinson Hall as Chavis Hall, in honor of John Chavis, said to be the first black to receive a college education in the United States.

John Robinson, for whom the hall was previously named, recognized his help in founding the university in 1803. He left land and most of his possessions to the school when he died. He had the misfortune of owning some 70 slaves at the time of his death.

The trustees also ordered all artwork showing George Washington and Robert E. Lee in military uniform replaced by artwork showing them in civilian clothes.

OMG. When is this going to stop?

REDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH as viewed by Sen. Elizabeth Warren differs when her own salary is concerned, revealed in a Boston Herald column by Howie Carr.

Fifteen years ago, Massachusetts legislators gave its trust-funders a chance to put their inherited money where their mouths are. If you check the box on Line 22, residents can opt to pay at the rate of 5.85 percent, rather than the near 5 percent rate.

Just 894 individuals out of the more than 2 million taxpayers opted to pay at the higher rate. So much for the generosity of liberal Massachusetts.

Senator Warren picked an election year to opt to pay at the higher rate the first time since the law was enacted. Surprise, surprise.

May God bless the United States of America.
