Hillary’s non-apology to a coal miner
The fluff magazine, People, and other Hillary Clinton media backers, are giving her credit for making an apology to Bo Copley, a West Virginia coal miner, who confronted her over her March remarks at an Ohio town hall about putting coal miners and coal companies out of business. Not so. Continue reading
Trump the ‘presumptive’ nominee?
Presumptive … presumed in the absence of further information – Oxford dictionary
“I consider myself the presumptive nominee,” Donald Trump declared following his sweep of the five east coast primaries, “As far as I’m concerned, it’s over.”
Personally, I am not a Trump fan. I just cannot get past his boorish bragging, his callous insults and his inability to articulate policy specifics. I’m not alone. A friend has been sending me articles on Trump, saying “I’m still learning to love him because I may have to vote for him.” Continue reading

Trump is the desperate one in the race
We’ve been inundated with fawning reports of Donald Trump’s big wins on the east coast earlier this week, but do you know that Hillary Clinton beat him soundly with the popular vote in those five states? Earlier in New York, Clinton’s adopted home state, she trounced Trump in his home state 1,054,000 to 525,000. Democrat delegates in New York more than double those of the Republican Party. Continue reading
Hillary wears pant suits, but her ‘slip’ is showing
Speaking in Wilmington, Delaware, Hillary Clinton tried to paint Donald Trump as someone who is out-of-touch with voters, describing how he flies in with his big jet, gives a speech, insults everybody, then gets back on the jet to fly to his country club house in Florida or his penthouse in New York. Continue reading
It’s ‘lyin Hil’ again
Hillary Clinton, already known for her long history of lying, has been caught in another one, according to Allysia Finley, writing in the April 26, edition of The Wall Street Journal. Continue reading
