Don’t believe Hillary Clinton’s story of computer naivete

Here’s the question of the day: Can someone who faces charges for mishandling highly classified documents; failure to provide security for the ambassador and other Americans in Benghazi; and failure to keep her duties at State and her connection with the Clinton Foundation at arm’s length, be permitted to run for president? She is currently under investigation for all three.

The late Friday confirmation by the administration that Hillary Clinton’s unsecured home server contained closely guarded secrets, including 22 e-mails with the highest level of classification, comes just three days before the Iowa presidential nominating caucuses. They will not, of course, be part of the document dump. Continue reading

13 hours Hillary would like us to forget

“We had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest or because of guys out for a walk one night who decide to kill some Americans. What difference at this point does it make?” – Hillary Clinton, Jan. 23. 2013

HilarywhatdiffWhat difference at this point does it matter, Hillary? You have to be proven accountable for the loss of four American’s lives. You have to explain why you were so callus about security at Benghazi.   You have to explain why you didn’t send in the military units that were ready to go. And you have to apologize to the families of those killed for lying to them while they grieved over their losses. And, finally, you have to admit that the attack had nothing to do with a video and explain your role in concocting that myth for public consumption.

I saw the movie, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, and now, more than ever, I am convinced that Hillary Clinton is guilty of dereliction of duty. Continue reading

More Benghazi revelations in Clinton e-mails

The terrorist shooting in San Bernardino gave the media another opportunity to provide cover for Hillary Clinton and the latest bombshells on Benghazi.

However, thanks to FOX and a couple of conservative papers, the word is on the street and will certainly find its way to the Select Committee on Benghazi and future debates.

Not only did we learn that there were forces preparing to move to Benghazi just hours after the attack began, Clinton apparently missed a meeting on sensitive intelligence items, including the Presidential Daily Brief (PDB), because she slept late on the Saturday following the Benghazi attack. Court says President Obama not above the law on immigration deportation ploy

“The president must follow the rule of law, just like everyone else.” – Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton

Referencing President Obama’s effort to defer deportations for more than four million undocumented immigrants by executive order, Paxton said, “Today, the Fifth Circuit (U.S. Court of Appeals) asserted that the CourtSealusccourts.copm)separation of powers remains the law of the land,” and added that “throughout the process, the Obama administration has aggressively disregarded the constitutional limits on executive power.”

Under the innocuous title, Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents (DACA), it was devised to apply to the millions who have been in the country since 2010 and have a child who is a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.  The court has blocked the president’s ploy. University of Missouri caves to intimidation

The resignation of the University of Missouri’s president and chancellor over racial issues was almost predictable.

We’ve seen intimidation in its many forms of late. We see it in our schools across the nation. Administrators buckle to someone who opposes prayer at a football game, or someone who is offended by a tee shirt with an American flag worn by a student.

We saw the Occupy Movement disrupt cities. The so-called “99 percenters” blocked sidewalks, camped out in parks and defecated in the streets of New York while the Democrat mayor supported them.

The spate of racial incidents can be traced to Ferguson, Missouri, when President Obama sent his attorney general, Eric Holder, there in response to the actions of a white police officer who shot and killed an unarmed black man. And, we heard crazy claims of oppression and disenfranchisement. Continue reading

Legacy-minded Obama hands GOP campaign issues

It’s amusing to see President Obama, so set on his legacy of met campaign promises that he doesn’t see that his failures not only doom his legacy, but hand the eventual Republican nominee issue upon issue to use against Hillary Clinton.

President Obama has handed the eventual GOP nominee a long list of issues to use against Hillary Clinton, who will be running for Obama’s third term. (deathandtaxesmag.com)

Unfortunately, in the process of his attempt to transform our nation, he is destroying the fabric of America. And he still has 13 months to complete his mission.

His lack of a foreign policy has made the United States a laughing stock. His feckless inability to commit to a strategy to rid the Middle East of ISIS and al Qaeda is further evidence of his failure to use the military power at his disposal.

The nuclear agreement with Iran is so important to the president’s legacy that he’s willing to sign it regardless that it doesn’t stop Iran from developing a nuclear weapon, and will provide Iran with billions of dollars to pursue its “death to America and Israel” goal.

Meanwhile, Russia’s Putin operates as he wishes in the Middle East. Continue reading

The climate of corruption continues in the Obama administration as Lois Lerner skates

“Our investigation uncovered substantial evidence of mismanagement, poor judgment … but poor judgment is not a crime.” – Asst. Atty. Gen. Peter Kadzik

Secret e-mail accounts and a coincidental server crash are meaningless.

Mismanagement and poor judgment are not a crime said a DOJ report on its investigation of Lois Lerner and the IRS targeting of conservative groups. (worldmag.com)

In his letter regarding the investigation of Lois Lerner and the IRS to the House Judiciary Committee, Kadzik stated that “What occurred is disquieting and may necessitate corrective action; and while they found mismanagement and poor judgement, (they found) no evidence that would support a criminal prosecution.”

While the work of the Select Committee on Benghazi is yet to be completed, Kadzik’s statement reminded me of one of the findings of the Accountability Review Board on Benghazi. Continue reading

Don’t count “Ole Joe” out just yet

“Honey, it’s gonna be okay.” – Joe Biden

That was Vice President Joe Biden near the conclusion of his statement Wednesday, during which he stated, “I will not be a candidate” (for president). He was recalling growing up in tough times, and his parents assuring him, his brother and sister that everything was going to be okay.

Was he trying to tell voters to hang in there; I’m here if Hillary goes south?

Joe Biden gave a lengthy speech via teleprompter to say he wasn’t a candidate for president as President Obama and Jill Biden looked on. (businessinsider.com)

There he stood, between President Obama and his wife, Jill, in the White House Rose Garden, taking us through his grieving process and the closing window to a realistic campaign for president.

But this political wonk believes “Ole Joe” has left that window open a crack to answer the call of the Democrat party should Hillary Clinton’s campaign sour. Will she satisfy the Select Committee on Benghazi, and escape criminal charges by the FBI for mishandling classified documents? Continue reading

Baltimore’s costly down payment to prevent further rioting

Baltimore to pay Freddie Gray’s family $6.4 million to settle civil claims   – Baltimore Sun

Unbelievable! In the wrongful death civil suit in Maryland, Baltimore has settled with the Freddie Gray family for $6.4 million.  Some have called extortion to prevent further rioting.

Put aside the fact that civil suits are generally handled after the criminal suit and that those six Baltimore police officers yet to go on trial are now practically found guilty by the payoff.

Freddie Gray’s mother, Gloria Darden, a heroin addict who cannot read, will receive $5.36 in a settlement over the loss of her son. (nbcnews.com)

Put aside the fact that when it comes to wrongful death decisions in Maryland, the payout to the Gray family is simply ridiculous. Since 2011, the city has settled more than 120 cases of alleged police brutality with just six exceeding $200,000, and none close to the Gray settlement. Even settlements in Maryland traffic deaths average just $500,000. Continue reading
