Blood on Their Hands

Democrats are calling foul on Republicans who, following the murder of the Georgia nursing student by an illegal, are accusing the Biden administration of having “blood on their hands” because of its open-door policy.

But it’s alright for them to use that that term when Republicans are holding up negotiations for more funds for Ukraine.… read more

Columnist Off Base

When I read the headline, “It’s Time for President Harris,” over Holman W. Jenkins, Jr’s column in the Wall Street Journal, I was naturally curious because he’s usually quite objective, but I admit I was disappointed.

After a convoluted analogy of the war in Ukraine to North Korea with his view of NATO, he blames the “stumbling” in Ukraine on an “unserious Republican Congress” and a Democrat president who, “unable to show himself, can’t perform the necessary predicate of rallying the public.”… read more

In and Around the Biden, Trump Campaigns

Commentary

WHAT, NO WATERMELON? – It’s understandable that President Biden feels the need to improve his image with blacks and young people, but his (or his handlers’) idea of bringing fried chicken to the North Carolina home for a chat with a black father and two sons was … racist? Carbon Dioxide (CO2)

“While CO2 is portrayed now as the cause of damaging extreme weather, our research indicates these extremes are not becoming more intense or frequent; thus CO2 cannot be the cause of something not occurring.” – John Cristy, Climatologist and Professor of Atmospheric Science, University of Alabama

Yet, President Biden and his friends at the World Economic Forum want us to spend trillions more in taxpayer dollars on what they refer to as “climate friendly initiatives,” wind and solar, and has called for a full transition to electric vehicles.… read more

I often hear from my subscribers, ‘Man, how many publications do you read?’ The answer is “a lot,” a number of them by subscription and others by occasional internet drop in.  Then there’s what I hear on TV news programs.

Notes from Iowa

While many of you were watching football, I was watching Donald Trump give his victory speech in which he was quite restrained, thanking a number of people before talking about how he, with our help, would take back our country and make it great again.… read more
