Hillary Clinton honest and trustworthy? Iowa Democrats seem to think so

A couple of weeks ago, a friend forwarded to me a piece circulating the Internet reviewing all of Hillary Clinton’s failures, and posed the question to those who would consider voting for her – Are you nuts?

Hillary’s amateurish campaign logo looks like it was designed by a grade-schooler and has already caught the fancy of creative types on the Internet. See below. (usa.today.com)

If you’re thinking, no one is seriously thinking about putting her in the White House, guess again.  Politicususa, a blog that claims to be the “home of real liberal politics,” recently stated, “attempts to gin up various scandals against Hillary Clinton has had no impact in Iowa …”  And get this – “Iowa Democrats say 76 to 17 per cent that Clinton is honest and trustworthy.”  Have they switched from drinking the Kool Aid to Iowa corn whiskey?

I’m reminded of the song, Iowa Stubborn, from The Music Man.   “And we’re so by God stubborn we could stand touchin noses for a week at a time and never see eye to eye.”

Someone needs to tell those Iowans that the woman who wants to champion the causes of the middle class doesn’t shop for groceries, doesn’t cook, hasn’t driven a car since 1995, is known to have a foul mouth and tolerates a cheating husband. Then there are those “ginned up” scandals of Benghazi, six-figure speaking fees, foreign contributions, $6.5 billion missing at the State Department, and her computer and those 35,000 delated “personal” e-mails.

The not so mainstream media continue to try to hide Clinton negatives from viewers.  ABC’s Good Morning America and World News Tonight chose not to cover their own ABC/Washington Post poll that showed her ratings tumbling along with those of President Obama.

The Reuters/Ipsos poll revealed that 73.4 per cent of voters disagreed with the premise that she’s been honest and even 59 per cent of Democrats indicated she has been truthful.

She’s going to be the Dem’s nominee, but she’s going to stumble, folks.
