Here my observations and opinions on my selected news of the day.
MY FELLOW CONSERVATIVES – It’s time to stand strong behind President Trump. He made a decision to end the shutdown without getting funding for a border barrier. Knowing that many of you would be disappointed, it wasn’t a difficult decision for this man who puts America first.
While many of the government employees supported his effort, key elements of the security of our nation became endangered, including our air traffic control system and Homeland Security, which includes the Border Patrol and the U. S. Coast Guard. You may not be aware that New York’s Democrat Sen. Chuck Schumer refused to allow a vote to pay the Coast Guard.
Some of the media is gloating that Nancy Pelosi won and the president lost. Exactly what did she get? She lost the DACA compromise that the president offered.
We can only have one president at a time, and while Pelosi arrogantly seems to think she’s in charge, she isn’t
We must not forget all of the promises kept by President Trump and his two years of solid accomplishments.
Now, more than ever, President Trump needs your continued support. I call upon you to let your legislators know that you demand that they support the president’s continued effort to get the border security our country needs.
WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO OUR FBI? – With all of the evidence of bias against the Trump presidency and the clear protection of Hillary Clinton, they sent a SWAT team of 17 vehicles with armed agents to the home of Roger Stone to arrest and handcuff him at sunrise Friday. Normally, it is the practice for them to request that an individual turn himself in at a specified time and place. He wasn’t a drug lord or a member of the mafia.
Director Wray: Aren’t you tired of the mounting embarrassment of your agency?
KRAMERONTHERIGHT FIRST – Although my “Special: Pelosi’s intransigence and the GOP’s silence” on January 22, 2019 probably wouldn’t qualify as a scoop since I was merely recalling a 13-year old border security story that I remembered from my days in Texas. However, I was first in bringing it forward at a time when border security was the subject of the government shutdown.
Although I recalled that the Boeing Company failed in its effort to establish a surveillance “net” under a government project called SBInet, I needed to do a little research to gather some facts. Everything on the Internet was dated back to 2006 when the contract was issued or 2011 when it was cancelled.
On January 24, 2019, Tucker Carlson Tonight on the Fox News Channel featured the story as part of its coverage. If you missed it, you can see it by CLICKING HERE.
When I checked the Internet at “SBInet, Pelosi” the next day, yesterday morning, my blog piece was the first mention.
May God bless the United States of America.
