THE DEBATE – Opinions of who won the Pence-Harris debate will vary, depending on where you generally get your feedback.  What’s more important is how you viewed it. 

I was struck by the snarky facial mannerisms of Kamala Harris. Smirking. Eye-rolling.  A cockiness exuding a kind of superior attitude.

I was left with the same thoughts that I had going into the debate.  Would I want her as the leader and commander-in-chief of my country?  A question that needs to be answered recognizing the frailty of Joe Biden.

COUNTDOWN TO ACCOUNTABILIY – Several weeks ago, we were told that U.S. Attorney John Durham’s findings on the Deep State may not be released prior to Election Day. I have to admit I was more than disappointed.  Those behind the dastardly deeds need to be held accountable.

At about the same time, a piece entitled, “Lock ‘Em Up’ Politics Will Destroy America,” appeared in the Daily Caller, written by J. D. Gordon, a former National Security and Foreign Policy Advisor to President Trump.

“(In 2016), I frowned upon the ‘lock her up’ chants against Hillary Clinton,” he wrote.  Later, recognizing what was going on within his government, he noted “the level of viciousness was beyond my imagination.  As a retired Navy Commander and former Pentagon spokesman, I worked with DOJ and the FBI over two decades and trusted their judgement.  Times have changed.”

He wrote of the life-altering defamation against Trump associates, the millions of dollars in personal legal bills they faced, as insiders targeted President Trump, and  “accidentally” wiped computers and iPhones that followed.

Gordon spoke of self-righteous, out-of-control prosecutors and media allies. His commentary was placed in my “pile of stuff,” to be addressed later.

IT’S ABOUT TIME – We know who they are, for the most part, but it’s time those shady members of the Deep State are officially named and called to receive  punishment, indictments for criminal activity.

We’re learning now that our intelligence agencies were aware of Hillary Clinton’s approved campaign to initiate a scandal against Donald Trump, and that then CIA Director John Brennan briefed President Obama and others, discovered in his handwritten notes.

Brennan is already putting his spin on this activity, and with less than 30 days before Election Day, unfortunately, I doubt if it will have much of an effect, with much of the media burying it.

I’m not naïve.  Never in my wildest dreams did I ever believe Hillary Clinton would be sent to prison; Comey, McCabe, Brennan, and the others, either.  I simply want their illicit activities revealed, that they be forbidden any future government position or an ability to lobby Congress.  Those with law degrees should lose their license to practice law. 

And, as I think about the millions of dollars in legal fees paid by those who were wronged, like Carter Page and Michael Flynn, fining those guilty of activity to destroy President Trump’s presidency should obviously be considered.

THE IMPORTANCE OF NOV. 3, 2020 – A Biden victory would assure there would be no accountability and all coup documentation would never see the light of day.

THE GALL OF MICHELLE OBAMA to hit the airwaves calling the president’s actions “racist,” causing “divisiveness, fear and spreading lies as tools to win.”  Claiming “these are powerful weapons,” she warned that “they can destroy the nation if we don’t deal with them head on.”

Listening to her rant, I was reminded of a recent tweet by blogger Jon Gabriel @exjon: “My favorite part about the Obama era is all the racial healing.”

Missing in her appeal, directed at women, was any mention of what the Obama-Biden administration achieved for minorities, yet she tried to make the case for electing Joe Biden.  “(He has) lived a life guided by values and principles that mirror ones that most Americans can recognize,” suggesting he’s the guy to “get the pandemic under control, deliver affordable health care and address racial injustice and the climate crisis.”

IT MUST BE REMEMBERED that it was the Trump administration that created the lowest black unemployment on record prior to the pandemic.  Opportunity zones were created to promote minority businesses. Second chance legislation paved the way for minorities to be released from prison for work.  And Trump approved permanent funding for black colleges and universities.

PRESIDENT TRUMP’S CLAIM that he has accomplished more in 47 months than Biden has in his 47 years in government service may sound like braggadocio, but the media isn’t likely to report it, so he must.

THOSE DEMOCRAT GOVERNORS continue to issue ridiculous and foolish orders. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo has threatened to post a health officer at the doors of churches and synagogues to block entry when the limitations have been met; with orders to a call police officer over if necessary.

Then there’s California Gov. Gavin Newsom, who tweeted: “Going out to eat with members of your household this weekend?  Don’t forget to keep your mask on between bites.  Do your part to keep those around you healthy.”

PONDER THIS – The media continues to tell us how President Trump’s reelection campaign is being hurt by women and minorities.  Does that mean they plan to vote for Joe Biden?  If that is so, why is it that women and minorities are leading in new applications for concealed carry permits, while Biden threatens the Second Amendment?

And from the standpoint of family safety, it is Biden who, until recently, ignored the months of rioting in a dozen cities across the nation, suggesting they were mainly peaceful protests.
