Biden Campaign 2020 Dirty Tricks Further Unveiled

Commentary

In my February 18, 2023 blog piece, “Meet Michael Morell, A Deep Stater with a Mission,” I wrote: “Chances are good that you’ve never heard of Michael J. Morell, so allow me to introduce you, because you’ll soon be seeing him mentioned frequently in the news, and you need to know why.”

I told you that he was more than just a signee of that infamous letter by 51 former intelligence officers just days before the 2020 election, he organized it.

You may recall it was an effort to discredit the New York Post October 14, 2020 article on Hunter Biden’s laptop, and have you believe the story “had all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”

To refresh your memory, Morell served as deputy director of the CIA and twice as its acting director under former President Obama in 2016, he endorsed Hillary Clinton for president.

Who better to help Joe Biden get elected?  The newly Republican-led House Judiciary Committee learned in transcribed testimony that Morell had spoken with Antony Blinken, then senior advisor to the Biden campaign, about the laptop issue, couching it as outreach to gather Morell’s reaction to the Post story.

However, Blinken followed up by e-mailing Morell a USA Today piece on the laptop and the FBI investigation that also went to Andrew Bates, then director of rapid response for the Biden campaign.

Morell testified that he had also received a call from Steve Ricchetti, chairman of Biden’s campaign, thanking him for writing the statement and to strategize its public release.  The goal was to help Biden in the debate and to assist hm in winning the election.

You may also recall that Biden referred to the letter in the debate, knowing of course that the letter was the product of a dirty trick designed by Morell with the help of campaign staffers and the “willing 51” intelligence officers.

A statement from the Judiciary Committee reads: “This concentrated effort to minimize and suppress public disinformation of the serious allegations about the Biden family was a grave disservice to all American citizens’ informed participation in our democracy.”

Clearly, with the help of Morell, the fingerprints of Biden campaign staffers are all over the fabrication of the letter and its timely release to suppress the truth about the laptop. The Judiciary Committee is now seeking testimony from Blinken, who now serves as Biden’s secretary of state.

Of course, we cannot minimize the effort of the FBI deep staters who worked closely with Twitter and other social media to suppress knowledge of the laptop investigation.  The Judiciary Committee is also looking into that operation as a number of agents, frustrated with the pace of the investigation, are seeking to appear as whistleblowers.

While we have learned that surveys can be structured to produce a desired result, one survey by the Media Research Center revealed that a stunning 17 percent of Biden voters would not have voted for him if they had known about the laptop.

The 2020 election is now in the rearview mirror, and cannot be changed, but seeking accountability of those who designed and participated in this October surprise favoring Biden’s election must continue.

Revisiting the Issue of Batteries

Regular readers will recall my criticism over the need for battery energy storage, the materials required for EV battery manufacture.

This week, Salt River Project of Arizona and Houston-based Power Plus LLC, announced that they were building a battery storage facility in Avondale, Arizona, to store power to come from solar sources.

An 11-acre piece of land will eventually store electricity produced during low-use periods and release it when demand is higher over four-hour periods.

Meanwhile, Michigan’s Democrat legislature approved the construction of a Chinese Gotion battery plant to be built near Big Rapids, despite significant opposition by locals.  The $2.36 billion investment with the potential of 2,300 jobs supplanted any concern over China’s further expansion in the United States.

                                                Finally, a Bit of Humor

You may recall how Ketanji Brown Jackson, during her confirmation hearings for the Supreme Court, could not define the word “woman.”

However, in a party-line vote this week to bar transgender athletes from sports, 203 Democrats saw no difference in genders, and opposed the Republican view that women and men are obviously biologically different.

Suddenly, however, someone noted there is a difference. On Friday, Rep. Rosa DeLauro praised Transportation Secretary and LGTBQ watchdog Pete Buttigieg for his plan to spend $20 million to develop a female crash dummy, citing DeLauro’s stated “inequity among crash victim genders.”

May God continue to bless the United States of America.
