The deceit of the Obama administration, brought forth with the revelation of Ben Rhodes’ manipulation of the media concerning our dealings with Iran’s evil regime, was just the latest in a long record covered in this blog over the years. Continue reading

Bobby Jindal: Electing Trump is the second-worst thing we could do
“I was one of the earliest and loudest critics of Mr. Trump. I mocked his appearance, demeanor, ideology and ego in the strongest language I have ever used to publicly criticize anyone in politics. – Former Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal
So wrote Jindal is his op-ed piece, “I’m voting Trump, Warts and All,” in today’s Wall Street Journal. “I worked harder than most, with little apparent effect, to stop his ascendancy,” he adds. Continue reading
Columnist Dennis Prager paints dark picture of America with Clinton or Trump
As a political news wonk, who has become extremely discouraged with much of the American public and their fascination with Donald Trump, and Hillary Clinton for that matter, I was drawn to “A Dark Time in America,” a recent column by Dennis Prager. Continue reading
What did I tell you? They’re going bonkers over Ryan
If you read my May 6, post, “Much ado about nothing,” you will recall my expectation that the media would hype the House Speaker Paul Ryan and Donald Trump confrontation for all its worth, citing a “deepening fracture” in the GOP. It is underway. Continue reading
Recalling the concern I had about Ben Rhodes
We learned that the New York Times will be publishing a story on Sunday about Ben Rhodes, a foreign policy advisor to President Obama, duping the public on the Iran nuclear deal by creating a false narrative. According to leaked information, the story will reveal how Rhodes pushed information leading us to believe the administration was dealing with Iranian moderates, while we were actually talking to the ayatollahs. It is sure to be a major topic in the news in the days ahead. Continue reading
Obama wants some to pay fair share while ignoring Federal employees who owe IRS billions
President Obama appeared in the White House press room Friday morning to again talk about those who use tax loop holes to avoid paying their fair share, but he ignores the 3.3 percent of government workers who continue to fail to pay taxes owed. Continue reading
Much ado about nothing
House Speaker Paul Ryan’s statement that he was withholding his support for Donald Trump until he has had an opportunity to confer with him has the political world in a dither. Continue reading
Hillary’s non-apology to a coal miner
The fluff magazine, People, and other Hillary Clinton media backers, are giving her credit for making an apology to Bo Copley, a West Virginia coal miner, who confronted her over her March remarks at an Ohio town hall about putting coal miners and coal companies out of business. Not so. Continue reading
Trump the ‘presumptive’ nominee?
Presumptive … presumed in the absence of further information – Oxford dictionary
“I consider myself the presumptive nominee,” Donald Trump declared following his sweep of the five east coast primaries, “As far as I’m concerned, it’s over.”
Personally, I am not a Trump fan. I just cannot get past his boorish bragging, his callous insults and his inability to articulate policy specifics. I’m not alone. A friend has been sending me articles on Trump, saying “I’m still learning to love him because I may have to vote for him.” Continue reading
USA Today gives new meaning to ‘fact check’
As I opined yesterday, Donald Trump’s foreign policy speech this week fell flat among experts. And this morning, the left-leaning USA Today did a quasi fact check of the speech. Continue reading
