Control Over Our Lives Behind the Obsession with Climate Change

Commentary

I was delighted to read that “The apocalyptic talk about climate change is nothing more than a diversion tactic by the government, the radical left, and the mainstream press,” in “Climate Change is About Control, Stupid – Not the Environment,” a piece written by William L. Kovacs, someone familiar with the ways of Washington.… read more

Radical Progressives Push Biden to Declare National Climate Emergency

Commentary

The Democrat Party is known for its identity politics and have labeled Republicans as “racists,” “misogynists,” “nationalists,” and “white supremacists,” among others.

Worried about their own label as “liberals,” that conjured up a negative connotation, they began referring to themselves as “progressives,” supposedly more favorably looked upon as a group with a belief in improving the environment, conditions of life and a duty to take care of economic and social affairs.… read more

Watch Zelensky’s Speech or Go for Ice Cream?

When White House Mouthpiece Jen Psaki was asked if President Biden would be watching Ukraine’s President Zelensky’s virtual presentation to Congress on Wednesday, she intimated it depended on his daily schedule.  Really, Jen?

As a former spokesman in the corporate world, her answer should have been: ‘While I haven’t seen his schedule for the day, I’m sure viewing that speech will preempt anything previously scheduled.’… read more

Biden Says He’s ‘Sick of this Stuff!’ Well, I’ve Had it Up to Here, Too; With Him, Harris and the Entire Feckless Administration

Commentary

Allowing his temper to surface again, President Biden screamed at the top of his voice, “I’m stick of this stuff! The American people think the reason for inflation is government spending more money.  Simply not true.”

In view of the dim outlook for the party in upcoming midterm election, I’m sure he was Invited to the House Democrats’ winter retreat in Philadelphia to pep them up with a strategy for winning. … read more

What Would T. Boone Pickens Say About Our Misguided President?

Commentary

While discussing a topic have you ever asked yourself, ‘I wonder what so and so would think’ if he were alive today?  It happened to me recently, but I couldn’t recall the name of the “so and so” I was thinking about at the time.

I can usually count on my wife to come to my rescue, but I was trying to remember a name of an individual that wasn’t in her wheelhouse.… read more

Fossil Fuels vs Renwewables Issue a No-Brainer, but Biden Won’t Budge

Commentary

While finally bowing to public pressure, President Biden announced Tuesday that he was “banning all imports of Russian oil and gas energy,” and in doing so, he said, “the American people will deal another blow to Putin’s war machine.” However, he refuses to budge off his stubborn position of reducing U.S.… read more

Barr’s Book on Trump Relationship … the January 6 Investigation Scam … Restarting the Keystone Pipeline … and Politics and Blogging

Commentary

Last week, I told you about the pending release of former Attorney General William Barr’s book.  In Saturday’s Wall Street Journal, Barr recounts his explosive meeting with President Trump who objected to the Justice Department’s failure to pursue fraud in the 2020 election.

Barr concedes that there were pockets of irregularities, but at the time “had yet to see evidence of the fraud on the scale necessary to change the outcome of the election.”… read more

PRESIDENT BIDEN HAS LOST IT – During a meeting of his cabinet on Thursday, he announced that he’s sending Vice President Harris to Poland and Romania to show solidarity with Ukraine.

That, after she told reporters at the Munich Security Conference in Germany last month that Europe had enjoyed “peace and security” since the end of World War II, forgetting Soviet Excursions into Hungary and Czechoslovakia during the Cold War, the Balkan civil wars of the 1900s and Russia’s campaigns in Chechnya, Georgia and Ukraine under Putin.… read more

Fraud in Collecting Climate Data, and in the Journalistic Reporting of It

Commentary

A FEW DAYS AGO, I wrote how various organizations altered climate statistics to fit a narrative. In Part XXX of Francis Menton’s “The Greatest Scientific Fraud of All Time,” he refers to the “homogenization” of global temperatures; the mission of identifying and correcting for supposed “discontinuities” or “breakpoints” in weather station location or instrumentation in order to provide a more accurate world temperature history.… read more
