From My Stack of Stuff

Commentary

HE’S BAAAACK – Yes, Kramerontheright is back after a brief respite, shuffling  through the stack of stuff for topics to consider for commentary.

Mrs. Kramer and I flew to Minnesota for a long-awaited family visit, skirting downtown Minneapolis, a city I once enjoyed visiting while employed by Honeywell.

It wasn’t until we returned home that the Minneapolis city council voted to reduce the police department’s budget by $8 million, while violent crimes are up 25.7 percent since last year.… read more

It’s Getting ‘Worser’ and ‘Worser;’ I’m Taking Some Time Off

Commentary

After foolishly agreeing with the decision to move the MLB’s All-Star Game to Denver, where voting is more restrictive than Atlanta, President Biden’s still out there lying in his effort to gain federal control over all elections.

Our weak-kneed president continues to lie about voting reform, calling it “the greatest threat to our democracy since the Civil War,” and blatantly says “They (Republicans) want to make it so hard and inconvenient that they hope people don’t vote at all.” … read more

Biden Gets Revenge, America Suffers

Commentary

Taxpayer’s will recall how President Biden took retribution against former President Trump on his first day in office by signing an order revoking the permit for the Keystone XL pipeline.  Now, the Keystone owner, TC Energy, is seeking $15 billion in damages.

In a move typical of the Biden administration, the revocation was buried thirty paragraphs into an executive order entitled, “Protecting Public Health and the Environment and Restoring Science to Tackle the Climate Crisis.”… read more

Biden Adds Sour Note to Our Nation’s Birthday

Commentary

No, it wasn’t his discussion with farmers over the tart cherry crop during a visit to cherry country in Michigan’s Antrim County on Saturday, it was his holiday speech that was a real downer when one of a patriotic nature would normally be expected.

I muted the speech near the beginning when he again went into his monotone delivery that was hardly celebratory, but Stephen Kruiser of PJ Media captured the moment, referring to it as “irritating.”… read more

Trump Back in Rare Form to Kick Off 2022 Election Campaign in Ohio

Commentary

He’s baaaaaack.  Speaking at a lectern with a placard bearing the words “Save America,” he may not have made any news during his visit to Wellington, Ohio last week, but former President Trump was in campaign form.

LOOK AT THAT … THEY MISS ME

Settling in, he looked out over the appreciative crowd, and said, “Look at that.… read more

Fear of Being Upstaged by Trump, Harris Sets Border Visit; Avoids Heavy River Crossing Locations

Commentary

WE’RE SUPPOSE TO BE PLEASED that Vice President Harris is finally going to visit the southern border, but where does she plan on visiting … El Paso … where the official border crossing is closed.

Appearing on Fox and Friends Wednesday morning, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz could hardly contain himself as he pointed out that she should be visiting the location along the Rio Grande where migrants illegally cross the river at will, some 800 miles east of El Paso. … read more

I’m Back Dipping into My Stack of Stuff

Commentary

BIDEN’S REMARK ABOUT JOURNALISTS before boarding Air Force One to return to the U.S. from Geneva almost made my “laugh of the day” spot.  He was telling them that he wasn’t going to negotiate with Putin in the media when he said:

“You’re the brightest people in the country.  You’re the most informed people on detail. read more

Let the Republican Revolution Resume

Commentary

Alright, Monday, June 14, 2021 may seem a bit early to begin the battle to retake the House, Senate and White House, but if that’s the way the foolishly cocky Democrats want to play, let’s begin.

It was on Monday that President Biden fired a shot across our bow. During a post-NATO meeting press conference, he said, “I think it’s appropriate to say that the Republican Party is vastly diminished in numbers; the leadership of the Republican Party is fractured; and the Trump wing of the party is the bulk of the party, but it makes up a significant minority of the American people,” referring to Trump’s “phony populism.”… read more

Topics from My Stack of Stuff

Commentary

Regular readers know that I routinely limit my commentaries to a single topic.  When that happens, other comment-worthy topics are relegated to my stack of stuff, off to the side of my desk.  So, it’s time for a little catching up.

RULE OF LAW – Like most of you, I find it incredible that one person can alter the rule of law on a whim, usually for political reasons. … read more
