“The GOP Has Its Own Nanny State Dream,” read the headline over a guest editorial by Catherine Rampell of the Washington Post. Obviously, the far-fetched headline caught my attention. Continue reading

Striking down Michigan voting law latest Democrat ploy
I’m sure you’ve heard both Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump say “the system is rigged” as they have opposed party delegate rules, but I wonder if you have heard about the other tricks up the Democrats’ sleeves. Continue reading
Liberal newspaper gives millennials weak advice on issues to support

“Hispandering” continues with Hillary
What is it about minorities, who continue to support candidates who fail to follow through on promises? Even an African-American in the White House hasn’t improved the lives of blacks, but polls show them solidly behind Hillary Clinton. Continue reading
Hillary may wish she hadn’t opened the housing crisis door for Trump
Hillary Clinton has been trying to label Donald Trump the bad guy, rehashing old comments he made about the housing bubble, but she doesn’t realize there are those of us who remember those who were primarily accountable for that crisis. Democrats. Continue reading

“I was one of the earliest and loudest critics of Mr. Trump. I mocked his appearance, demeanor, ideology and ego in the strongest language I have ever used to publicly criticize anyone in politics. – Former Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal
So wrote Jindal is his op-ed piece, “I’m voting Trump, Warts and All,” in today’s Wall Street Journal. “I worked harder than most, with little apparent effect, to stop his ascendancy,” he adds. Continue reading
Columnist Dennis Prager paints dark picture of America with Clinton or Trump
As a political news wonk, who has become extremely discouraged with much of the American public and their fascination with Donald Trump, and Hillary Clinton for that matter, I was drawn to “A Dark Time in America,” a recent column by Dennis Prager. Continue reading
